I like the redesign of the old sonic sprites. It’s not too much like the FNF style and it retains some of the sonic x style. Not to mention the extra mouth animations. I also like that Dead Eggman and Classic Eggman’s voices and laughs are similar. Just that dead’s voice is more deep and gravelly. It’s a nice touch. 🙂

@@ChumpX2 yeah, david's is accurate but too cartoony for the actual look of the characters (not sonic.exe, talkinf about tails knuckles and eggboi) while these ones are more realistic but not accurate for the shape of the characters, for example, this knuckles is too tall, this tails is a bit short I guess? And this eggboi is too fat not fat shaming don't hate me plz lol

The Exes are missing a voice effect that reverbs their voices and makes them sound a bit better (especially with the hold notes. Otherwise great cover!
For me, it’s extremely noticeable in xenophanes and knuckles

Gonna be fully honest, I'm glad the tgt sonic voice was used, I don't really like the blantados sonic chromatic that is very often used, so this was a treat to see

@Leonan Naves dorkly sonic has a very good chromatic but it's only faithful to dorkly sonics voice and not actual sonics voice, which makes sense because it's for a mod of the sonic for hire series and not just a regular sonic mod

The only thing missing from all the vocals is the reverb. Other than that? It's great!

Like.. adding every single element to the song (with that I mean rhythm, instrumental, vocals, pitch AND effects) to be one to one with the original. Remove one element and the song feels a little.. incomplete, ya know?

the fact that creeps me out the most is that knuckles.exe, robotnik.exe and even sonic.exe himself is actually enjoying the competion, as shown in the health bar. The more they get defeated, the happier they seem. It's almost as if they enjoy it, while every other character is nervous, seeing that they have been beaten by a lot.
Xeno literally is a sonic fanboy and the others are actually happy cause it means either theyre getting freed or theres at least some timelines where they survived
and then we have tails, who's just staring directly at you intensely as if to say "bro can you not"

The way I picture an encounter with these characters is a lot of fun in my head.
Tails would be scared but would brave they before being more empathetic too his counter part.
Knuckles would be disturbed but would easily brave threw it as he is much more of a fighter than a runner. If anything he would probably think it’s a mercy taking his counter part out.
Eggman in the other hand would be disgusted and would see his counter part as a failure that he can easily overcome.
As for Sonic I can imagine shock, horror, and Rage. At seeing this monsterous double of him, far worse than the others fakers he faced before. Seeing that this one isn’t a suffering lost soul, but is the one in control. The cause of all this pain. I can imagine it being more like Spider-man vs Carnage in Marvel. Spider-man deal with an evil and terrifying monster far beyond anything he has ever seen before. Leaving the question what will happen at the end of their final battle.

I kinda like Sonic's original rhythm Rush sprite better, but other then that! This is a masterpiece!
Sonics rhythm rush is really overused and overtime ive grown to hate it, im just waiting for somebody to paint over the original fnf sprites and make them not dead, and make it an entire game.

The voicing for Tails, Sonic, Knuckles, and Robotnik were really good. But as John Smith said in the comments, the EXEs are indeed missing the voice effect. Either way to me the EXEs and the non-EXEs are still cool sounding.

By the end of sa1 he has gained a fair amount of confidence, and by sa2 we see him straight up prepared to kill robotnik after he believes that sonic was killed (believably so might I add, he was literally fucking launched from space)

I disagree with everyone saying it sounds bad without the "reverb" for the exe characters. Compared to the original, you can actually hear exe knuckles' part and it sounds amazing. Before I heard this version of the mod, the knuckles part was my least favorite cause I couldn't hear the combination of sounds and it just sounded like boyfriend stealing the entire show. Whereas, I now prefer this version of the mod because it made the knuckles part clear and it's now my favorite out of all the exe songs. Well done. 👍

I enjoy their voices better without the reverb. The reverb just made them sound extremely echoey and distorted, hard to hear, and impossible to listen to. I like this a lot more.

One small issue with this is:
Some of the exes sound like the vocals were cut short and the reverb was not present. Take Xenophane for example, that just sounds wrong. Eggman is worse.

Normal eggman is already more terrifying than his exe, solely because of the fact he just stands there menacingly without bopping to the beat at all.

It's definitely the same pace. Just that because in this cover the vocals cut off constantly before they get to the next note instead of hanging like in the original.
Case in point: Listen to Robotnik's part and compare it to the original.

This is great, my only nitpicks are that “Tails” tails should move regardless of a hold note. Make him feel stiff. Other nitpick is rings, they don’t have a sound and for some reason play the up animation which is something I see with most mods. I don’t code so idk why it happens
Edit: one more nitpick, everyone else is classic while eggman is modern against his classic
I feel that their design is more of a mix of classic and modern with some of Sonic X in there. While Eggman is just purely modern.

The ONE issue with these covers is the missing reverb. It‘s pretty noticable and makes it sound a bit worse. But it‘s not too much of a problem

This is INSANE, I personally like to think this shows how fearless sonic is against his exe self and is powerful enough to overcome him, along with tails, knuckles, and eggman with their counterparts as well it’s just too cool
