I love how they chose a true direction with this film. They didn’t try to make the movie for “a new generation” or anything. This is truly for those of us who grew up on the show. A show for grownups. Love it! 😊

Respectfully, this film deserves to flop. And I seriously hope it does. Some of the cast members and adult producers bullied and treated a former teen costar like an outcast. So badly to the point that she got PTSD, threw up behind the scenes, and had to quit after season 2. And even as adults, Jamie and others never reached out to apologize sincerely for their actions.

The people we really need to hold accountable is the adults who just allowed it. the actors were children. Sometimes you gotta move on without an apology and never wish anything bad on that person.
The fact that Logan and Quinn remain together since high school after all these years and decided to tie the knot is really great story.
My parents were high school sweethearts & have been married for over 30 years now. It doesn't happen often but it is cool how some people do find their true love in high school.

Same, Except for seeing them get married, I couldn't care less about it really. Especially since there's been things said about Jamie, the girl that played Dana in S1, ..and even Victoria kinda, but mainly Jamie, regarding the org show. (Specifically by the actress who played Nicole. What she said about Jamie alone was upsetting. Ntm, the creator..who's name will not be mentioned. Another disappointment. Things have been said about Jamie even as an adult too. That's why I'm mainly just excited for Q+L.)

I thought this was going to be ridiculous, but I love what they did with this movie. I really like how Zoey looks like a normal 30-year-old woman. Not a super skinny super pretty Hollywood looking chick. I also like how she peaked in high school but later discovers that life doesn't come as easy for her as an adult. It felt very realistic and relatable to a lot of us millennials, who this movie is intended for. And finally, I love that Logan and Quinn stayed together.

Man, I wish…I can’t imagine Ariana playing Cat again though. She’s 30 now and Cat acted more and more like a child as the seasons went on. Maybe if they put her character on meds or something? Idk. But I feel like it probably wouldn’t happen because Ariana or other cast members are too busy :/

I wasn’t sure if a Zoey 101 reboot would have anything genuinely interesting to say for the audience that grew up with it, but I’m here for this ‘peaked in high school’ fantasy. I feel like the people who peaked in high school are usually the villains in movies like this, yet I’m sure the experience is relatable to more people than would like to admit it.

The Peaked in high school plot is so relatable to my generation the millennials.

I was skeptical going into the trailed but honestly… doesn’t look half bad! Hits the nostalgic feels but also looks like they have grown the characters appropriately and it looks more fun than I was expecting!
I literally just finished all 4 seasons of Zoey 101 on Paramount+ and got tears in my eyes watching the Zoey 102 trailer. So pumped!

Second, I hope that there is some in-movie explanation to why Lola, Dustin, Dana, and Nicole aren’t attending the wedding. We all know the reasons IRL for Austin, Kristin, and Alexa, but I heard the only reason Victoria Justice didn’t reprise her role was scheduling conflicts.
Other note: LOVE how Stacy and Marc have returned too. MAN they look great. And in Stacy’s case, sound great too

I feel Kristin was kinda deleted from the lore, with the way Alexa is regarding the series it's better to not even mention the name I guess. I never saw the movie yet, but I heard there is a mention to Lola, a picture of her or something. Even James had a mention.

@shekinah9521 Dana was fired off the show cuz the producers thought she was too old for her character. Nicole (Alexis) she left cuz she was being builled by Jamie so I already know she didnt want to be in it cuz of Jamie. Victoria said it wasnt the right time for to do it

I'm glad this is a movie rather than a new series. Despite the success of the 'iCarly' reboot, I'm glad they're not risking the legacy of the original 'Zoey 101' series. I grew up with that show and it'll always have a special place in my heart. I don't see Lola (aka Victoria Justice), but that's ok. On the plus side, Quinn and Logan are getting married, heck yeah!

While I haven’t seen the movie, I really think a better plot would have been to just have a high school reunion at the original PCA academy, and from there we can have all the stuff play out. Quinn and Logan get engaged, Zoey and Chase try to figure out their feelings for each other, and provide a familiar backdrop for the fans to catch up with these characters after 15 years of life. While there they can revisit things like the time capsule and other plots that could have real affect on the characters now.
It also would have been easier to account for characters who are absent from this movie.
Lola = filming a movie and can’t make it to the reunion.
Nicole = didn’t graduate from PCA so she wouldn’t be invited back for the union.
Dustin = being younger than the rest of the cast wouldn’t be there because he didn’t graduate with the rest of the cast.
While it’s really sad not every character is going to be in the movie. Doing a reunion instead of a wedding would have made it so much easier to craft the story around the returning cast without drawing to much attention to why the non returning cast isn’t there
The story could have easily written itself if they would have done a high school reunion instead of a wedding.

When Chase was like "zoey, i love you" and they kissed, it was like thinking about the entire zoey 101 and all of the almosts', the i want to tell her so bad, holding it in, etc. for literally years. And that moment was pretty much: "this is for everyone whos been on my journey of growth since 2005 with me", and just goes straight in for a kiss. This brought me closure on a childhood emotinal journey since 2005, and here we are and it never felt so good.
Might I add they all grew up so beautifully too.

Years after watching the initial running of the show and once my reason for watching Zoey 101 at all hinges solely on Quinn and Logan. With a bit of Chase and Micheal’s great friendship dynamic sprinkled in. The more things change the more they stay the same.
This actually doesn't look half bad. My only problem would be how they made Quinn look more "normal". It was always a big part of her character that she was different from the rest of the group and she wore whatever she wanted, always super colorful, and usually wore unique hairstyles with like bandanas or clips and stuff. Here she's mostly blacks, greys and whites and is only really wearing her hair in basic styles. She's not even wearing glasses in any of the clips. I know she's grown up now but I just expected her to still stand out amongst the group. Now she blends in with the rest of them. Kinda feels like it contradicts the scene where her and Logan get together because she was trying to change herself to seem "hotter" for Mark. But Logan told her not to do that, put her glasses back on her and went "there's Quinn." But now all I see is Erin Sanders. No Quinn. Maybe I'm wrong, I just hope they didn't change her too much. She was always my favorite (obviously lol).
Well she grew up. In my experience that is what happens when people grow up. They come into their own. Plus Quinn never looked weird.

I get this, but looking more “normal” is VERY common when people grow up and get adult jobs. My parents were punk goths in the 80s. They now look like random adults working in corporate jobs. My mom also got lasik and doesn’t wear glasses anymore so

she said she wished she could've been apart of it but filming was happening when she was doing alot of other things she's working on multiple films as well as new music so she just didn't have time. She did say she was sad she couldn't be apart of it and that she's been in contact with all of them about it.
