Saw one of these 40 years ago at a shopping mall shows. Fantastic reaction when the milk disappeared and the light goes out. lol I have a collection of milk pitchers.
Regarding the remote, a telescoping antenna can usually be replaced with a piece of thin, flexible wire. In most cases an antenna is just a conductor of a proper length. The video doesn't show how the telescoping antenna is connected to the remote. If it is just a screw, it may be worthwhile to unscrew it and in its place put just a wire. Also, depending on the wavelength being used, you might be able to use an even fraction of the full length of the antenna, i.e. one half or one quarter. Easy to check, just extend the antenna exactly a quarter of the way out or half the way out and try it. If you have any friends who are into ham radio, ask them for advice as hams are masters of antennas.
I genuinely appreciate you including the info about the collapsible antenna. I feel like In todays day and age that’s pretty a inconvenient compromise on the remote. Everything else seems nice tho
Murray Sawchuck does a great stage version of something similar to this at his show in Vegas. Uses a large light bulb and a milk pitcher. David do you know if the large globe he uses is available?
I have seen that cup a few times. It uses Pascal’s principle! Interesting how you say this one can be opened and cleaned. For the ones you say are harder to clean, I have always wondered about experimenting with them. Maybe there is an easier way to clean them.
another quality product from TCC …. their video tutorials however, never seem to be long or thorough enough … thanks for the review David 👍🏻👍🏻 Show us a live performance
I love the idea of this trick but since I work alone so the remote would not really work for me. The remote looks very old school. Thank you for the review.
This trick (both parts) uses a lot of science and tech in use! Wonder if they can create a better remote. I wonder what is the smallest remote we (as humans and engineers) can create that would be able to create this and related tricks.
For the price, you'd think they would have a better remote that could be discreetly used by the magician. There are tons of remotes these days that work great without a stupid extendable stick antenna. Seriously? My $5 Bluetooth remote camera trigger is finger-palmable and works 100% reliably over 30 feet. That thing looks like it's straight out of the 70s.

Wow
Thanks David! The remote info is most helpful. To bad no one took the time to make the remote more discreet.
i've heard other people had better luck with theirs
It's such a strange plot. It would be very interesting to see a show where it fit.
Show magic pieces don't have to connect

Hi Great review.
Have you reviewed syncplify by TCC?

Nicely done review, thanks David! My question: Where did you find the ESP symbols T-shirt? :)

Another great review, are you going to review unseen force by tcc?
I wish I had it
@@magicorthodoxy I understand 👍👍
Was your bulb like the LED one in the video or just a old school glass bulb?
like the video
They changed the light bulb to an old style glass one now

How you doing
Good - How you doing
You had me up until you started describing the remote. Absolutely ridiculous and impractical.
