I have never seen an easier form to fill out. Guys, please do not pay for these easy steps to follow. It is even recommended to not use any intermediary who will charge you money to fill out these forms. I have won the lottery green card twice and never have to pay anything. I hate to see people taking advantage of others that think they are in a weak position. Follow the guidelines on the form, if you win you win, if you lose you try again another time.

@@faithjeptoo3549 Yes, let say 50,000 people are selected. Now the immigration office will start processing those 50,000 people between Dec 2024 and November 2025. If your document did not get processed within that timeframe, your case will be dismissed. What are the chances of a candidate making it if his case number is 49,899 out of 50,000 cases being processed within a few months? You see what I mean? If you make it during that timeframe then they will continue the process until the green card gets issued.
In my situation, I got selected during year X and the case number was far around 35,000 and did not make it before the timeframe expired, but the year after I was again selected and my case number was around 20,000 and got processed before the timeframe expired. You are luckier if you are in the low numbers.
I have tried my best to explain, I am not an immigration officer🤣

U dont fill this part if you're not married lawfully. So i advise u choose single. Because wen u choose married, it will ask you to fill questions which you dont have answers.

The passport picture should be at most 6 months old….so 1 month does not make you ineligible

Thanks EBM. For city of birth, when does one choose city unknown? If the place I was born is not a City what should I write
City of birth means your place of birth. In american way, there's no village. All are cities. So u write your place of birth, where its a city or village. Your passport can guide u on this

And if you have kids and you are not married is the birth certificate of the kids needed
