  • Last month I was invited to shoot Halletts in Havasu - a two day boating event where owners of Hallett Boats gather for the weekend to share a common love of the famous boat builder. With 91 boats registered, Friday included a lunch run to Pirate's Cove Resort in Park Moabi, where the Pirate Girls were waiting with open arms to serve the thirsty crew. Saturday took us down to 3-dunes park on world famous Lake Havasu, for some relaxing fun and refreshments. I even had the chance to shoot a couple of special Hallett Vectors for upcoming stories on @River Dave's place.
Side note: This is the first video where I've shot the aerial scenes without a helicopter. My new Mavic Air 2 did the trick with a top speed of 42 mph. Can't do that with the offshore boats, but it sure worked out great for these beautiful river cruisers. Check em out here, and grab one for yourself! amzn.to/35cE3W1

@@FastLoudPhotography I get it. Its hard work flaming and editing. I personally love your videos. You film my kind of stuff. Every video is done well but if you decide to step away I will understand. :)

It’s about 10 miles south of London Bridge Resort on Lake Havasu.

@@FastLoudPhotography how far is pirates cove from the London Bridge and is that South from the bridge as well? We stayed there back in just but took the boat from there to the bridge several times great ride! The lakes in Oklahoma are nothing like that.

@@jeffbryner5355 awesome! Pirates is actually about 20 miles NORTH of London Bridge, up stream on the Colorado River and through the pristine Topock Gorge.

@@jeffbryner5355 I was scheduled to shoot a poker run on Possum Kingdom Lake this summer but it got cancelled like most other events. I’d really like to see more of Oklahoma.

@@FastLoudPhotography oh wow. So after you come out of the channel going south do your turn to the left and head that way to the cove?
