- Three people have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder - after a father and son were found shot dead in two Cambridgeshire villages just a few miles apart.
Officers believe both men had been targeted as part of a family dispute.
Tragic news.

That's not really looking into the subtleties of the case .I know a young woman who was abused by her partner and had to go into a refuge.Meanwhile the abuser stayed in the house and was awarded custody of the two sons because he had stable accomodation and she was homeless.
The sad thing is that's the English justice system isn't the best. Needs to change. They will probably be out in 15 years slightly more.😢

The childs father being given full custody was obviously the right decision of the judge who made that decision as the mother must of hired these men to do the killings if she's capable of that she deffo would never in a million years made a good mother to that child ...well I doubt she wud of won mother of the year

To spend 20+ years in prison doesn't seem to a deterrent to murderers in the UK.

I feel sorry for the child or children involved, as well as the direct victims. It will cause them lifelong emotional scars and, in all likelihood, destroy their relationship with their mother (even if she's found to be non-complicit in the killings).

Could possibly be, we have a problem with my brother who has custody of my nephew, his baby mum is absolutely disgusting saying he abused her and everything yet my brother is lovely. She even came to my parents house, with 4 others, beat up my mother ( needing stitches ) and my brother, and was trying to yank my poor nephew out of my brothers arms.. It was all on CCTV and she got no punishment.. Just goes to show people the fathers are sometimes the more responsible parent and we shouldnt read a relationship by the cover..

This is where we need to have the conversation about banning guns in the Uk…. Wait we have and bad people still get guns and always will, and if they don’t something else will be used as a weapon. When you fire a weapon, the gases in gunpowder residue that blows back onto the shooter leaves a somewhat fingerprint able to be traced for days, even after a person showers…. Not to mention forensic analysis. Today is so far advanced that we are able to determine just about everything from just one strand… in this day and age, you can almost not get away with murder under almost any circumstances… the only ways that you can do it is by reverting back to older mentalities. Obviously, I won’t go into detail onto that but years of psychology studies and criminal sciences has proved to me why

Yes, it's a worsening problem. Our police are a bit tokenistic at present. Not as bad as the USA, though. We're allowed to compare our shootings favourably with the USA shootings. The results, of the two distinct approaches to the problem of people shooting each other, are sufficiently different. USA - the idea seems to be that everybody gets a gun but the cordial in America's water is those pesky 'no guns' people. Opposite way round, here. You'll see that, when reading the comments, every now and then there's a 'good guy with a gun stops bad guy with a gun' statement. It's clearly not the majority view and being shot is not the top cause of death for our children. If you're stateside - do you know if that's just blankly true (that American children are more likely to be shot dead than killed in an RTA) or are there any qualifiers (like 'violent deaths')? It can't be ALL deaths? There is some sort of grim league table. Or have I been completely misinformed?
I do wish these people would not leave flowers ..it’s not for the victim it is for show of them selves . Did these people even know the person that has been shot……would they have left flowers for a neighbour that had died of natural causes ??? I doubt it..
Actually, these are relatively small communities where people know one another, so if someone is in trouble people will help. Looking at the younger guys socials, I think that he may have been friendly with the family of an ex work colleague of mine, that has an uncommon surname. It is not that uncommon in areas like this that it will turn out that you know someone that knows them.
