    is it possible to weld bars with different sections, for example, 50x5 to 25x3/ thakyou in advance.

    I got a big flash burn on my entire hand doing that. We left the igniter behind, so used a match held a safe distance away. Somewhere along the line I got complacent, no glove and no extension on the match, with predictable results!!

    looks like he is welding a copper wire to a rusty filthy rebar ,typical construction work
