Yes. When I watched The Secret of NIMH 2: Timmy to the Rescue, Timmy was taken to Thorn Valley to become a hero just like his father. But in The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride, Kovu was chosen to avenge Scar. Zira thought Simba killed him, but Scar was killed by the hyenas for calling them the enemy.
