I love your videos, and this is a great video. Word to the viewers who have a "normal oven", preheat your popover pan, you need the extra heat for them to come out perfect. His oven is extra, and will bring the heat necessary for a pop over pan to work and have them rise. Those of us with standard ovens, need that extra preheat of the pan. I love making pop overs for everything.
I agree. Even with his oven, the popovers didn’t rise much considering he filled them to the top. I fill my tin halfway up and they rise more with preheating.
Your presentation of your cooking lessons is absolutely superb and fabulous. Your personality is outstanding and I am an addicted to keep following you. Best videos on UA-cam!
What a great idea - popovers for thanksgiving! I used to make popovers once or twice a week - SOOOO easy and they make you feel like you’re a real cook! 😆😆. If I can deal with adding yet another dish that needs to come out of the oven RIGHT before dinner, I’m going to make these and will try adding sage to the batter. Come to think of it, Sage popovers would also be great with sausage patties for breakfast. Or maybe it’s an Indiana thing? Sage in sausage? Anyway! Thanks again for such a terrific video. 😍😍😍
Yum!!! I want to make these!! Plus I noticed lots of colorful Turkeys on your countertop on the left side of the screen- what are you going to do with those? I LOVE them!!!!
Oh my goodness, they look wonderful! I have a question about your oven, is it dual fuel, meaning gas for cooktop, and electric for oven? We have a wolf cooktop now and love it. But we are building and we are thinking of something like yours. Wondering if it has lived up to your expectations. Thank-you in advance.
I enjoy your videos, easy to follow, regular food and always turns out. Would you happen to have a recipe for fish tacos made with crappie caught this summer and in my freezer. I would prefer not to fry them. Thank you
Oh wow I didn't realize how easy the batter for popovers would be. Definitely want to give this a try and play around with the mix ins. Thanks for this!!
I started making these two years ago from his video of different types of popovers. The pans are now $5.00 more than when I purchased them. If you have a muffin pan use it instead. These are definitely best hot and fresh from the oven. The lose a little bit of something when cooled down or the next day. Still good though.
Thank you so so much for your videos . They are instructive, easy to follow, interesting and fun! Please do a video on sharpening knives ! I think it would be appreciated by lots of your viewers ! Please!!!
Beautiful! I'd forgotten about popovers, I used to work at a fancy restaurant and the chef would make these on special occasions! So delicious! Thank you!

Very similar to Yorkshire pudding we make in New Zealand. Only cooked in oil in muffin tins. YUM.
Yum!!! I want to make these!! Plus I noticed lots of colorful Turkeys on your countertop on the left side of the screen- what are you going to do with those? I LOVE them!!!!
Kaleb made a video putting together a Thanksgiving tablescape where he used those cute little turkeys.

Gayest popover recipe
Wow!! These would be perfect with our Christmas Prime Rib dinner!! I am going to buy a popover pan and try them! Thanks for the recipe!❤
You can use small terracotta pots as pop over pans are very expensive.
Yes... they're similar to yorkshire puddings minus the cheese which is traditional with roast beef.

Pop overs orrrr Yorkshire puddings am confused 😮
They’re very similar, but I think popovers are made with butter and Yorkshire pudding is made with meat drippings.
