As the first episode of power hour ive seen, i thought the show was 100% serious and i thought the grumps were in deep shit the first time i watched it.
They do that a lot (just watch the gummy worms episode) and I get so stressed out every time even tho I know that it's fake And their body language sells it to me,they can just act so incredibly well
I was scared Arins account got hacked, there was also a skit that scared me when Jacksepticeye said he would sue Arin and Dan cuz he did his own power hour and I thought that was real, nearly gave me a heart attack.
I was really hoping that Matt would come in a 4th time covered in blood, dragging a dead body on the floor telling Dan & Arin that he's got it all under control and that he just needs a hand putting the body in his trunk.

I think it's just really good acting on everyone's part. I doubt they'd put a real situation like that in the show XD. Especially with the camera zoom in "womp womp"moment. Plus Arin would have to deal with that right away and not just immediately go back to laughing about his sexual performance..

Okay but “the something that’s not right with his tummy” is such an adorable way of phrasing it (Also these older episodes where they tried to take a more unsettling approach are so strange now... now, they mostly just have fun, with almost no acting! The most recent exception I can think of is the Ikea building episode from a little bit ago, which doesn’t even really count because it’s not acting, it’s just kind of “Dan being unhelpful while Arin gets upset about stuff” but there’s no arc to it like in the older episodes.)

(Also these older episodes where they tried to take a more unsettling approach are so strange now... now, they mostly just have fun, with almost no acting! The most recent exception I can think of is the Ikea building episode from a little bit ago, which doesn’t even really count because it’s not acting, it’s just kind of “Dan being unhelpful while Arin gets upset about stuff” but there’s no arc to it like in the older episodes.)
After twenty five years Game Grumps actually ends with the shocking reveal that Dan and Arin are actually a couple. A relationship that stayed hidden despite the several 'Brojob Charity Drives' and 'JO Crystal Charging Pow-wows'. Looking back, a lot of things started making sense.
