    it would have been nice to be able to actually see each step you took to start the Vanguard, but you didn't zoom in for that!?! What's the deal my friend? It's the reason I looked up the video.... to learn! Not everyone knows what you know!?!

    I think there's some false advertising here. I have never had that much trouble starting any of my Honda engines. In fact, I have a 20 year old Vanguard 16 hp V-Twin horizontal shaft engine giving me more frustration and trouble than I have with 35 year old Honda engines. Chinese Honda clone engines like my Cub Cadet PowerMore 420cc and the 389cc King Canada generator engine are the same as the Honda. Also, unless you are moving the engine around with a truck and trailer you don't need to turn the fuel valve off. I have demonstrated to customers why I use Honda with my current Commercial Honda mower by showing them how easy it is to start by slowly pulling the cord with only two fingers and it starts first pull.
    What I find funny though is the fact that Briggs' power equipment brands all use Honda commercial engines along with Kohler, Kawasaki, Briggs and Vanguard brands. Snapper, one of those Briggs companies uses the Honda GXV160 engine on its top of the line mower. The other funny part is some Briggs branded power equipment is in fact Honda clones, I mean, this engine shares some similarities (if not directly copied them) with Honda GX.

    These motors are crap. And what genius had the idea to combine the throttle with the kill switch? Also, no need to adjust the throttle to start a honda motor.

    • @neilenglish6407
      @neilenglish6407 Рік тому +1

      That's because the throttle is not combined with the kill switch. The fuel cut off is combined with the kill switch.

    • @russell21590
      @russell21590 Рік тому

      @neilenglish6407 There is no kill switch. Cutting off fuel is the only way to shutdown the motor.
