@@jefffranckowiak8911 That is of course an option. I am happy with the trade off that I have come to now. I think it will look great when the model is complete.
Great job so far! My only issue is the rust on the cranes and bulkheads. My dad was a WWII navy man and he said rust was not allowed! Always touching up paint!
Thanks Charles! You are probably 100% correct that they paid a lot of attention to maintenance, but I do think they prioritized fighting the enemy before painting ;-) Also keep in mind that the videos are very close up to the subject, so the rust might seem more exaggerated than it actually is, and I think it gives the model a bit more depth. So it is to my liking, and not necessarily historically accurate.
Meget pent Kenneth! Fråga: Jag tänker bygga USS Arizona 1/350 i vinter.
As always great work on the boats - the weathering really is fantastic - thanks for sharing and keep up the fantastic work Ken
Thank you very much Ralph, it is really appreciated 😊
The tender boats look great my friend. Another great video! The ship is really coming together nicely. You are a phenomenal modeler!
Thank you very much Jeremy, I appreciate it :-)
Excellent job as usual Kenneth ship is looking great keep up the good work 👍
Thank you David 😊
Awesome job on the boats! They are amazing!
Thanks Jeff 😊 They are a great addition to the ship for sure 😁
@NorwegianModellingBench what you could do to not block view into the hanger deck is have some boats in a partially lowered positions?

Very nice as always, they look great.
Thank you very much!
Always great!!
Thanks Paul 😊
I feel that those boats could be kits in ther own right. All the best.
Kind of yeah.. it felt like something else than the main build, and a quicker “sense of accomplishment” 😉 Stay safe Bren!

If you were to recommend one of the after-market kits, KA or Pontos, which would you recommend?
No doubt, the Pontos kit!
Great work. What colour/paint was used on the boat decks?
Thanks! I used an earth brown color from AK.
Thanks for the info. Looks great.
