I remember seeing those track cleaning cars at York many years ago. If I remember correctly, they were quite pricey.

Not sure what they cost originally, but have seen them at both high and reasonable prices lately.

They were made by a company called Centerline Products in the 1980's or 90's. I acquired 3 used and mounted one into a prewar 2812 gondola.

Do any of the fibers from the rollers get snagged on the track sections?

I haven't noticed any yet. I thought of having a trail car that was a sweeper, but it did not seem necessary.

Jim that is clever, run in in that car as the undercarriage no one notices it.
