Man after JavaScript fatigue, Jquery is like the oldschool rock solid
I am happy that you are consistent on youtube once again. Giving these updates faster than anyone else!
New year resolutions kicking in early
@@codedamn your new year resolutions makes us happy :)
jquery is very useful for website modifications. Really intersting updates still appears :)
Completely agree. I do a tonne of DOM manipulation for AB testing, and jQuery is amazing for this
Yes remember the days when workin with json Needed a shim script and jQuery just nade it work across all different browsers
Yeah, jQuery was assumed to be out or dead!😮 I am as well surprised to learn that a newer Version thereof is out now.
jQuery was once used for making websites. Was used less for proper web apps.
And it is still fine to use when making websites, and almost always you should make a website instead of an app. Once you've made the website and have enough customers, maybe then look into making it into an app. And even then jQuery is just fine, most of the web apps could be done as glorified websites. Very rarely you actually need a "real" web app. And then it might be smarter to look into making a desktop and/or mobile app.
The whole video seems pointless
Our company is still using jQuery for these things but I know there is a no future of jQuery
LOL :D i never excepted that jQuery will get revival. Sometimes life can shock you :P but I think that jquery will not get that much attention since newer frameworks like react, vuejs, angular do what jquery can do. So nothing fancy :/
HTMX with jQuery might be getting a different effect when combines with modern backend frameworks
@timexpeachtree well i think htmx has the potential more than jquery or even alpinejs. No one want to use an old technology unless there's no other choice or the cost of maintenance is too high or that application is too big and complex.
The question should be, why send a large JS package with your site?
But should it compile from jQuery to vanilla first, then it may be, a quicker and familiar way to code.
Sir please make video on Jquery in Hindi
We still use jQuery in our projects 👀
For what type of web app?
@@rayyanabdulwajid7681 most of the teams at my work are using it with various frameworks.
Should i learn Jquery in 2024 ?
Thumbnail 😂😂
😐😐
JQuery who?
It's Dead 😂
Write less do more, i think chatGPT is more... Far more deserve that word🗿
I don't use jquery anymore but whenever I see old PHP guys who uses laravel and built frontend in vue js they install jquery in the vuejs and man the codebase becomes hard to maintain because instead of finding npm equivalent of jquery package they use jquery plugins in vue js sites and that is nightmare, and personally I hate jquery because I have worked on many projects like these, and I hate it ,
But of course if these are old days I would have loved to work with jquery.
So u mean one shd avoid using jquery with laravel+vue combination? If possible Pls elaborate coz I am planning to use this in near future.
Its because they find templates in Jquery and requirement is to do a project with React Vue
@@acp28 yes 100% I would tell you to not to use jquery with frontend frameworks like react and vue.
@@acp28 Yes you should either use blade with Jquery or Vue dont mix them
@bhumit070 thanks this would save me from probable blunder.
Angular is not going to die soon also, big enterprise and large projects still sticks with angular
lol angular
Bro windows 95 😂? ROFL 🤣🤣 even jQuery didn't support that
jQyery is my favorite ......
I just had to rebuild a 14 year old Hybris/jQuery ecommerce website. I hate jQuery especially the spaghetti in 4 separate 2000 line files that was impossible to debug and especially dangerous to update. Although I converted it with modules, classes and decorators leveraging it's event system to completely componentise the functionality and decouple the components from one another, while automating the binding and unbinding of events and adding sensible logging for event handlers. It would have been the best piece of jQuery code ever written 10 years ago haha. Might update to 4.0 just for the hell of it.
First comment 🎉❤
is Jquery Still survive?
Mainly on old pages
We still use jQuery in our projects.
It was used on old websites. I doubt if it's used in today's modern web apps
@@rayyanabdulwajid7681 it's still used
😂😂
Frontend masters made plain html and css
Not anymore. Preferably React, Vue, Angular
