Soo Ho never really fought until he actually needs to. He always made sure to never go too far...but this episode was definitely his breaking point, he let all the anger out on them

@@Core4VTReacts So this drama is an adaptation of webtoon. And actually, on the webtoon, this season is just a flashback. The main story is at Eunjang Highschool and it hasn't started yet. The guy in the after credit is the main opposing character in this story (Na Baekjin).
Didn't see a comment explaining this on the previous video either, but there was a part y'all missed, when Bumseok initially asked the fighter to help him beat up Sooho. The friends there had referred to the fighter's defeat when fighting Sooho in the past, so in order to make their fight easier, they decided to cause that accident which injured Sooho to weaken him and increase the fighter's chances. Which is why I also feel that Siyeon went in Sooho's place that time because he knew that in his injured state, he was more at a disadvantage and more likely to get seriously hurt...just wanted to clarify that whole bit.

I can understand how you guys felt I binge-watched till epi 7 but had to take a break bcoz of this scene.... couldn't stop crying for 20mins ...i literally had to calm myself down to continue watching ....this is one of the best kdramas ever

beom seok might have gone through what he went through but that's absolutely NO EXCUSE for what he did to soo ho at all. people go through trauma but it's what you choose to do going forward to overcome it and beom seok chose wrong. there's no excuse for any of his actions. anyways, great reaction as always. looking forward to the next one❤️
my sister has a video of me crying over this episode lol it's literally so heartbreaking I'm still not over this even weeks after watching it
At first, I understood how Bum-seok felt and why he was making such bad choices but at this point, it's clear that he still doesn't understand the path he's chosen. Yes he has faced trauma and that sh*t has affected him so much but none of that can justify the things he does in the end. I seriously wanted to eff him up so bad and what Sieun does to avenge Soo-ho was so satisfying to watch because they deserved it. I lowkey think Bum-seok had a crush on Soo-ho and was more so jealous of how quickly Soo-ho befriended the girl even though they had a platonic relationship. He felt so out of place and betrayed, I guess, that being with the wrong crowd seemed like a better choice than realizing how much Soo-ho and Sieun care about him. In the beginning, I thought the three would be best friends and fight against the school bullies or other issues that come up but this kind of twist, even though it wasn't completely unexpected, I did not see coming. And the fact that in the end Bum-seok even said he doesn't know the reason why he did what he did makes me so furious and just full of boiling hot hatred towards him. This show crushed me so hard and I can't wait for season 2.
1 - i don't think bumseok has a crush on sooho. maybe they are hinting at it but again this is based off of a webtoon where that's not the case + bumseok clearly has an inferiority complex and needs that validation. reminder he was abused for a long time and had been bullied
2 - i think bumseok does know why he did it. but since it runs deeper than simply disliking sooho, it's harder for him to voice that. he could also be extremely ashamed to accept what he did
I haven’t read the webtoon but it just seemed like that’s what they were hinting at. Or maybe I’ve just watched too many BL’s 😂.
Yeah I know he was abused and bullied but it’s still crazy how far he went to receive that validation. In the end, he was ashamed and still seemed to care about Soo-ho but I definitely wouldn’t forgive him for what he did.
@@army0t7613 dw that's completely valid! i probably wouldn't either but if there is a season two (which i'm almost positive of) then sooho will most likely forgive him eventually. i mean the whole story is abt this trio. if not that then bumseok will have a tragic ending
@@00slog Yeah I think there is a very high chance of a season 2 release, probably in 2023. They seemed to end the show on a bit of a cliffhanger with the appearance of someone with a higher rank. I think the assemblyman who adopted Bum-seok will play a bigger role as well if there is a season 2. We'll see.
You won’t see soo hoo or bum seok again if there’s a season 2.
Man I still cry every time I watch that scene and I cried even worse in the WEBTOON version shit was worse there……they softened what really happened to Soho in the series to what really went down in WEBTOON

Actually i'm glad they make sooho a badass in this, different from the webtoon.
But i hate they made sieun not hit bumseok at all, different from the webtoon where bumseok was beaten to pulp.

At first I thought I won't cry but as soon as the episode ended I just started crying for 20 mins.
this and ep 8 was too much man i literally couldn't stop crying after finishing it

the only way I can describe the ending of this drama is gut wrenching
Just because he was abused by his dad does not give him right to be abusive to others it's sad it ended up that way. But also I feel like he could have put a camera in his room, of his dad beating him several times and then when he's presenting something on stage put it on for everyone to see and send it to the cops or something.
I literally bawled my eyes out on this episode and what’s worse is that I share a room with my sister so I had to cry quietly 😭😭

I can never forgive Beom Seok for what he did to Soo Ho. I have never felt so conflicted about a character in my life, I can never forgive this idiot because if you think about it all he had to do was explain to Soo Ho that he is being abused by his father, he's never really had friends all he's had is bullies at school and an abusive father and family at home, and that he feels like a 4th wheel ever since the girl was introduced to the group. That's literally all he had to say and most likely Soo Ho would've understood and the 4 of them could've mended there relationships and over time became friends again. *THAT IS LITERALLY ALL HE HAD TO DO COMMUNICATE THAT'S JUST IT!!*

The pain always come from the ones we care and its hard to face the unseen result when we cant believe blindly the others heart
Beomseok may be scared of being normalized on his struggles when he knows his friends also are in their own hard life
And his mental was dangerously damaged he cant even stand when sooho put arm on his shoulder
Means even that small action is hurting him with doubts
I agree he chose the wrong path he shouldnt go that far to hurt sooho but I see no other positive way he can go in his state
There was only way for him to become bad and feel like boss when he cant stay like outsider or loser as he was
And he just had that chance when he got into the wrong crowd
Beomseok is already broken since before meeting with sieun and sooho
@@bdnaj4615 when i was a kid (age 0 until 11) i grew up in the same environment as him and yes i was a bully back then, but our situation can't excuse our dumb stupid decisions. It can be used as an explanation as to why someone's acting the way that they are but not used as an excuse for someone when they do stupid shits. If they're wrong and stupid, they're wrong and stupid, there is no "but".
back when i was a toddler, my mom told me I kept crying in frustration because I didn't want to turn out like my father but it's REALLY hard to change on your own. You know what ultimately got me out of the endless cycle of anger, frustration, and dumbfckery? talking to people. Let them understand me and me understand them. Nothing will change by being a coward, which is what he is even until the very end.

i feel like bumseok took out his pent up anger at previous bullies, his horrible father, the cruel world on sooho. thats why in ep 8 when siuen asks him why he did it, he said he didnt know. Bumseok was definitely out out of line, but its complicated and not just a matter of if hes good or bad. If any of us were in his shoes, walked his entire miserable, lonely life, could we honestly say we would do differently? when you werent taught how to recognise love, friendship, worry etc from all the bad, how is he supposed to see the world clearly, or emotionally regulate well... Bumseok deserves to serve time, but also deserves to go to like therapy and get support for his horrible traumatic childhood. Or he'd most likely kill himself
I cried when I watched this episode by myself and I cried again today with you guys. I can't even put into words how damn hurt I was when "Pink Pillow" was in that condition. My heart broke and I kept wishing it wasn't true. Everyone keeps wondering why Kdramas are such a hit and it's because they make shows like this one! this ep was crazy for me when i watched it, i was in complete denial and so in shock that i coudnt even cry
I feel that, when you start to talk to your father about something that they do and they make us feel, but when they get angry or they change their tone you start to feel intimidated or you get discouraged to tell them what you feel.
Im sure you guys finished the last episode. This only the prequel of the story. If ever this show get to have season 2, you may get to see more fighting scenes (hoping a good choreography) and awesome plot (if they follow the source material). Season 2 unfolds the story of Yeon Si Eun and how he became the White Mamba of Eunjang High School.

I kinda already knew the outcome because I'm a fan of the webtoon so, yeah i knew... And yet somehow watching this drama (the last 3 episodes in particular) was just that heartbreaking. I was devastated 😭 how does it make sense to get to this point? I suppose I'm part of the minority that doesn't exactly hate Bumseok (the drama version of him i mean), i pitied him really, until this. This is when i just despised the living nightmare he became

im so mad that i cant hate bumseok bro i REALLY cant. even after everything just went downhill after he helped sabotage sooho's bike and then continued to participate in beating him to de@th i cant. the kinda person he genuinely is and his entire backstory makes me unable to hate or blame him entirely. GET HIM SOME REAL HELP.
that being said i dont actually condone nor am i justifying what bumseok did. he clearly messed up big time. man i js wish sooho knew what was really going on w him so he wouldnt have pushed him in the cafeteria or slapped him in this ep. telling somebody like bumseok after knowing what he goes thru behind closed doors that he should "get a beating" is all sorts of wrong. both of them are in the wrong for different reasons. w sooho being clueless and bumseok going overboard

I love your reactions, this series is my fav one, I first read the webtoon and in the webtoon tbh suho suffered more but the drama version I think is more deep in terms of showing everyone characters and background, so it makes it more painful
