This was a good reaction! I loved the connection you made with the idea that greed contributed to everything in the film. At the end of the day, everyone but Chihiro was greedy. Because of the greed of her parents-the ones who were supposed to protect her and teach her not to be greedy 👀-she was thrown into a terrible situation. In the end, the CHILD needed to protect her protectors… grossly unfair to the kid… she shouldn’t have had that pressure and responsibility…. It may have helped her grow in the end but her innocence was sacrificed.
Loved this! I had quite a few chuckles and insightful moments. I’m glad you were able to get through the movie as an adult 😏 😂 Can’t wait for the next one!
Edit: I looked up the humanoid figures in the movie. Apparently they’re transformed spirits-like how Kohaku can transform. Think Sesshomaru. And I agree, I need a Haku story.
