Kawasaki had one on show yesterday at the WSBK at Phillip Island. It looks better in real life, but man that muffler is ugly. From the front the bike kind of reminds me of the Shinkansen bullet train. I would have thought with that sort of power you’d want to do a few track days with it, but I see what you mean, it would ground out if you got your knee down. By the way, if you’re using a GoPro for some of the shots the quality is amazing.
Exhaust, filter and a tune and it’s at 260whp. That’s great! I just ordered my 2021 ZH2 and I’m going to have Brock Performance do my tuning. Shooting for 300+whp.
very true people that buy this bike wouldnt have any trouble replacing the exhaust with another branded 4000$ exhaust and like straight from the dealer to workshop 🤣

The 1290 super Duke is a direct competitor at that price and dyno graphs are pretty similar with brake torque over 100 as well. As a side note this bike appears to make more power throughout its rev range compared to the dyno graphs currently available for the new streetfighter. Around 185 wheel hp is where the V4S lands as well. Seems Kawa under rated their figues a bit.

Kawasaki I've been buying your bikes, since my first Street bike H1 500, what the hell did you do settle on second best? You should of just plug in the H2 engine, without the tone down. It's not a touring bike like the SX.

Hi, it'll easily get to 160mph which we managed on the Las Vegas Speedway on the launch but the focus is much more on low-mid range grunt (torque) rather than top speed. It'll be more comfortable than your '15 ZX10R and the acceleration from standstill will be faster too. You won't need 160mph everywhere to think about how you're using the bike and if it's suitable. If you do lots of track riding then you'll be buying new foot pegs every time with the Z H2! Nice review. The bike is hideous pointless & completely awesome! This is a bike that you buy with your heart....& your eyes closed lol. Can is a wrong'un but I imagine you could probably lose 10kg when you inevitably bin it. Shame Kwak didn't put some high spec Showa suspension & Brembo Stylema calipers on & make it a really premium top dog. I guess it'd probably be too expensive but it's unique so I think they could've got away with it. I guess it gives them the option to upgrade or do a special edition in the future.

Its not bold, its pure ugly, and suzuki did this before with B KING, and they fail hard, this might fail as hard but i can see this bike at the end of the season for £11K in the shops for second hand. There are many cheap parts on it , double swinging arm, very old brembos, heavy bike, supercharge is not a full selling point for these bikes really but it does help. I am really disappointed as a H2 SX SE owner.

What a pug ugly bike, all the makings of a class leader were there and Kawasaki ruined their chances, especially when compared to the looks of other naked heavyweights like the Tuono and Speed Triple, even Hondas CB1000R which most of the bike press branded bland looking, looks good in comparison to the Z H2.

@@yonniboy1 because of the immovable parts. But the issue can easily be remedied with a screen and a paintjob. I see potential and attractive lines you can highlight.

Brock's Performance dyno results are in! All stock, zero modifications: 184 hp 94 ft-lb @ wheel (SAE correction). As much as 80 ft-lb @ 5,000 rpm.

Lmaoo.. the fz09 is 425lbs wet, it's throttle modulation is horrendous and its suspension is barely an upgrade on my 1/7 scale rc car.
