Remember when a 210hp tractor seemed enormous. Like an 8400 back in the 90s. Never seemed like they would get any bigger than that. Now it seems like 210hp is a little tractor. Love the hood design on the new Deere’s
I can't help but think they need a bigger tractor on that 5 shank ripper. It looks like it struggles when it goes down all the way. I notice the depth wheel isn't on the ground a lot. But I guess if it gets the depth they want, it doesn't matter. Just observing.
Thank you very much including the PTO horsepower in the specifications. Old dinosaurs like myself have trouble with engine horsepower ratings as they don't reveal parasitic losses of various transmissions or hydraulic systems.
How often does the farmer have to change the points on the subsoiler, when we used moldboard plows in south Georgia we had to change the points every two days and the wings at least once a week if we worked hard
I am not sure about this farm, but on our rippers and moldboard plows we change them about once a year. Our ripper is very similar to these subsoilers.

Were they? I don’t think so. They might be though. The front weight tries to help keep the wheels on the ground and improve traction. When the subsoiler is in the ground it is designed to angle downwards and pull the implement deeper which can pull the front of the tractor up.

Yup. We still think of the Case MX200s as big tractors on our farm. It’s amazing to think how much power each of those machines have.
I don’t remember the price of the 8400 but seems like a lot of money for 210ph
Any video featuring Garnett farms is a winner. Thanks Jason for sharing. 👍👍

Love videos of Garnett Farms! Drove past their farm the other day and it’s massive! Thanks Jason for all that you do!

Great video thanks Jason
That looks like an awesome tractor😁👍 Garnett farms have an impressive fleet👍😉
nice tractor
😁👍
Aqwsome Video!!
😁👍
Great Vlog, Fantastic machine thanks
It appears that this tractor was doing all the short, "odd" shapes allowing the bigger, faster tractors to till more efficiently.
Yes the three 7R 210s were catching the odd corners of the field along the edge.
Great Video Jason. I’m John Deere Technician in Firebaugh Ca we just got some new 7Rs come in today.
Very cool. What horse power size?
We got 4 7230R
I sure like the looks of te new 7r210s
I love Jhondee
👍👍
Really nice 👍👍 And just noticed the deer blind in the background, also a 👍
There are plenty of Deer in Western Kentucky. This field has a few blinds.
People don’t realize how big the machines are until they get up next to them.
Uyu9
I didn't like the RX to start with but it growes on you I like it now
Agreed. First time I saw a new 7R I thought it was uglier than a mud fence. Growing on me tho
I can't wait until they upgrade the 6Rs & 5Rs to new 7R/8R level
I would say 5,6 and 9 are just around the corner to get the Deere family Yellow Flag styling.
Hi I enjoy you channel her from South Africa stay in Kimberley in the Northern Cape

That ripper really works that tractor! Loads up them rear tires something fierce and the feonts are damnnear ready to come up lol.
I thought that was gonna be bubba in the tractor..someone else today

Quiero ver un video de armado de tramicion de 7210r
I wish I had auto drive in the tractors 🚜 i drove, work some long hours in the field 😫 😩.
Buy newer equipment then
👍👍

What will they do before they plant in the spring?

Normally a farmer changes the worn out parts before they start
That’s what we do on our farm at least
Anybody know how many jd 4430s were made
No idea, but a lot for sure
Outside of Garnett Farms how common are V-rippers down there?
The 915 is popular. Several farms have them. The Case IH 2500 is also popular.
Let the depth wheels do some work
What size tires do they have on the 7r210
The first tractor needs more plows
Would the 350 at max horsepower be able to pull a 7 shank
It depends on the soil conditions, depth and speed. This farm pulled 7 shank 915s with 375 hp 9330s with ease.
The the 7r 350 can have up to 385 horsepower
When you going to put the 8850 on a ripper
I did get to rip with my 8850. It made a brief appearance in this video over the weekend ua-cam.com/video/WdRPDyb8A5s/v-deo.html
Need more red power
In the past 6 days I have had a video on an IH 1566, Steiger PTA 325, Case 2470 and Massey 4880. I was a little short on Deere videos.
bigtractorpower you know what they say
If it ain't red leave it in the shed 😄🇨🇦

That is terrible. Where do you farm that it has stayed that dry that long?
@@bigtractorpower central saskatchewan, yes very bad, and the late 80's-early 90's were even worse - crops didn't even come up at all those years
Does that tractor have a fridge also?
It does. I featured this one on a batwing mower and a harrow earlier in the fall.
Was I seeing things or was the front wheels on this tractor coming off the ground from time to time ? Love me some of that green paint ! Enjoyed it .
