In August 1973 my cousin was in a car accident in rural Colorado. He and his wife were airlifted to a hospital in Denver. He suffered severe head injuries, his parents consented to organ donation. He was 22. His wife and baby daughter survived. He would be a great grandfather now.
I do believe some people can’t see the beauty in the death. Kind a like you ask a question why should someone have to die in order for someone else to live. That’s just my teeth.
These WALKS are very difficult to watch...but necessary to pay TRIBUTE to this REMARKABLE PERSON. YOU have given a chance for other people to live!!! WHAT AN AMAZING GIFT!! PEACE TO HER LOVED ONES!!
I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my brother and he was a donor too. They told our family that someone got their sight the next morning..Brian I know loved that..We are all donors. Brian alway said "Why not. He would be in Heaven so why not give a lot of people the answer to their prayers "....He is my Hero and so is every donor. ..I am sending all of you a ton of love and prayers from me in New Orleans...
This is such a dignified and respectful ceremony. Hard to find that lovely combination anywhere these days but the Honor Walk is a noble exception. Thank you, Meg, for thinking of others even before yourself. Your husband was also supportive of your selfless act. I hope may persons are mended with the parts you bequeathed them.
I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful precious loved one 💞💕❣️ you have done a wonderful thing to donate her organs to honor her memory and celebrate her life ❣️💞💔 please know that you will be able to see her again in heaven
Jamie, you deserved the organ you received. You are here to bring light to your family, friends and other organ recipients. Your life is one of courage and determination. God bless you and your donor 💜
This is an amazing selfless act. What find odd is that she never was a donor before then checked to be one on renewal of her license and had a major cardio episode. I wonder the time there after it happened? Money.drives alot of.people and organs could cost one alot of money. My prayers to the family.
In the U.K, there is nothing on our driving licence for organ donation. If there was, I would hope there was an opt out box too. I have opted out of organ donation, because I give blood, and that's all they're getting from me!
Artic......you do realise your organs are a gift from God.He created you in your mother's womb....I do trust you would reconsider donating your organs........my husband had a kidney transplant from a donar who signed all his organs to be transplanted on his death.......we are eternally grateful for this young man's decision.
I have been an organ donor for over 30 years. To give life to another is the best humane act that you can do.🙏🙏🙏❤️
Everyone who can should become an organ donor and give the gift of life
Why anyone can give thumbs down is beyond my belief..... Why?? This is someone who has lost their life but gave life to others xxx
I know it sickens me.

Waneta Boyce god bless him for his heroic action. I hope you are ok. May he Rest In Peace in the arms of God.
Why 'thumbs down' a video like this? To deny how beautiful it is to witness such a gift has to mean you are without life yourself 😞
@Regina Phalange Right

You’re grateful attitude and sensitivity says a lot about how deserving you are
Did you ever meet your donor? 20 years ago I made that decision to become a donor. I hope someday I can safe a life. I hope to help someone in need.

When you go in a theatre room its normally to save your own life.in this case she's saving others life.

E.J. if you have not opted out of organ donation direct online on the organ doner register then you are considered opted in.
@@random_research_uk158 As far as I know, I have opted out of organ donation. However, I do give blood, so I'm not totally selfish am I?☺
Think my sister opted into it when she applied for her provisional license

It's sad you feel that way. You don't benefit from keeping them
This is awesome... tell me that hospital employee doesn’t have a long scraggly filthy beard.....?
