This is my first time ever seeing/hearing of Matsatsa, and I've seen all I needed to see, this kid is a runner! What a smart race, I'm excited to see more of him in the future.
Matsatsa dropped a 3:54.1 indoor mile early in the NCAA season today. He made the US Olympic final and ran 1:44 in June at age 19.. This dude is going to be a big player in all 800/1500M races for years to come.
They let one of the kids run with that hat on? Not that it affects the outcome in any way, but in previous years at a high school National Championship meet, , the officials would have spotted this, and demanded that he take it off before competing.
I think the results are incorrect. Keyshawn Garcia was 3rd after running last at 400m mark; monster 2nd 400. Salman was 5th. @carl_lewis_official will be delighted.

He's so underrated. Many people also don't know that he went sub 4 in the mile as a high schooler

guy is crazy smooth - barely any breakdown in stride on the homestretch - he'll do great at college level in 800 or 1500. exciting!
