They were always looking for reactions to laugh at, though. I agree with the spirit of what you're saying, but at the end of the day, a prank is a practical joke at the expense of an unwitting participant.

they purposely picked on old or skinny guys. I can lift two of those buckets filled with lead. I do plumbing and the scrap lead I get from from roof flashings I melt down and then pour them in the exact same bucket to haul for recycling

For some reason this video was in my recommended. Smart prank. I don't know if just for laughs stages their pranks or not. (Haven't watched many of their vids) Checking the comments it would seem so. Anyways, I came across comments saying all pranks are staged. That is a false statement. Me and every channel I have worked with get 100% real reactions. Which aren't always over the top.
I also really don't do mean spirited pranks. I make them where I'm pretty much the butt of the joke. I like to make people question reality when we are out filming.

+drekson23 I think the reason is for simplicity. these are visual perception pranks usually. the other thing is...if they put these to DVD and sell them...it can be sold internationally without the need for subtitles or dubbing.
