We completed our tree project this weekend and it turned out amazing! I didn’t know how to attach a photo in the comments but we are so happy with how it turned out. ❤️
This will work great with the faux Eucalyptus SMYCKA from IKEA as well. And that one has even got some dual leafs as well and is very affordable. I have been planning to do one with those, as soon as I find the perfect tree for the base. Loved the finish on planter!

They sell wire brushes large and small at dollar tree, also chip brushes and cheapy paint brushes, so next time you don't need to waste money on throw away tools you can't or don't want to clean for another use.
