Yes, most towns across the UK are changing. Large department stores will disappear over time and High Streets will revert back to the specialist shops and cafes.
@@skippysadventures1234 true that's a good outlook for the long term , which I am looking forward to. The initial closures in Wycombes highstreet were due to the main shops relocating to the new Eden Centre

Which turns the old highstreet into a ghost town of closed and low value shops
