I worked and lived in High Wycombe from 2003 until 2006. The old town was the same for years until recently, and it’s sad to see most of the shops were empty even before lockdown.

I was last living in the area up until 2007 and in recent visits I’ve noticed that High Wycombe has changed considerably over the past few years.

Yes, most towns across the UK are changing. Large department stores will disappear over time and High Streets will revert back to the specialist shops and cafes.

@@skippysadventures1234 true that's a good outlook for the long term , which I am looking forward to. The initial closures in Wycombes highstreet were due to the main shops relocating to the new Eden Centre
