This is a great mic. I just bought one a month ago. One thing to point out though that made me shake my head a bit is that the woman at one point in the video was placing her mouth right up on the mic . I specifically chose this mic over the others I tested because it has a farther range for the same amount of clarity (basically greater gain/higher dB) than, for example, the SM58. When I was in Guitar Center describing the kind of mic I wanted I told them I didn't want to have to "eat the mic". So what she is doing by basically eating the mic is totally unnecessary with this mic. It annoys me when a mic's gain is so low that you have to get your mouth right up on it to get any real volume, and the Sennheiser e935 solves that problem -- and has amazing clarity!
It's a vocal technique technique thing. The closer you are the more low-mid to bass response...she's chasing a very smooth tone, obviously a Jazz vocalist. It's Not a demonstration of You Must eat the mic.
@@Irishceol Fair enough. As another person pointed out in their comment, this vocal "demo" could have used more variety (and length) to show its capabilities better though. So I guess that was just my knee jerk reaction to what little was shown, when I think this mic shines better than others I've used; even when your mouth is further back from the mic than would be allowable for some other mics. In other words, not much of a demo here to make a great determination of its features and capabilities. But to your point, that totally makes sense that the lows get picked up better that way.
@@JoshuaMNielsen it's really addressing 1) sibalance sensitivity 2) sweetness in the upper middle range 3) details in the bottom end 4) noise of air hitting internal pop shield. It's a Demo meant for an audiophile to hear. Though most people just need a demo of a mic like a full singing of a song. I think they only catered for a very specific listener niche.
It is a great mic. However it does not adds " intensity and size" to the voice. That is marketing bullshit. 😂 It is very clear mic with high boost. German quality. That is all. The rest is up to you. 😁 E945 sound even better on my voice ( stronger proximity effect) , but I do not like it's supercardioid pickup patten. I could accidentaly point it's bunnytail in the monitor and cause feedback . 🛑🔊
the difference is between hypercardioid and cardoid. the 945 will reject noise from the sides, but this makes it important that you sing or speak directly from the front. it is not the best for two singers at once singing into it (background vocals or singing a chorus together for example). to reject feedback, monitors should be placed to the sides. in case of the cardioid e935 a monitor should be placed directly behind the mic. soundwise there isn‘t much of a difference.

That's my mic and I love it!!!
Tengo el mismo pero como hago para que suene así en si para ecualización en una consola MIDAS digital
Sennheiser e935 vs e945, if using for live recording , can u tell me the most good?
