Thanks I'd forgotten that there was mostly paddocks across the the other side of the railway line. My family moved there in1970 from Campbelltown and bought the giftshop/newspaper shop on the corner of Nardoo and Oxford Streets. We lived for a while in the old postmasters house that was behind the Post Office that's in the video. Rent initially was $12/wk.
I remember the good old days. Both my parents lived in ingleburn since 1960 until they both passed away in 2009 and 2019 and I grew up here and I still live here yeah it's changed but this is my home so when I watch the videos it brings back great memories. Thanks Mark I think you use to live next door to my parents Mr and Mrs Horsley😊
This is how I remember Ingleburn when growing up. Nice small quiet town

It’s crazy how different it looks today but it still holds its character
That brought back some wonderful memories. Thanks for uploading.
Many thanks Mark for this video. Greetings from tropical Finland. We lived 2007-10 there and grate to see how it was looking earlier. Cheers.
Great video Mark, brings back memories for sure
Nostalgia plus! Even the infants school. I still remember my first day at kindergarten.
Wow how things have changed

Just how I remember it. Great place to grow up back then. Is the old horse trough still there somewhere??
Oh yeah its still there in the main street near the cash stop and bread shop. Has a small covered seating area next to it now
