Vanlife Festival 2023 - Shrewsbury

We are James and Kelly, and we are travel vloggers from the UK. We have a few travel plans for the near future, but in this video we want to give you a brief insight into one of our long term plans - Vanlife. We will shortly be starting our own vanlife journey and converting our own van into a fully off-grid campervan.

@@Two_in_transit There are many campervan enthusiasts in 🇰🇷South Korea as well, but it has increased since the pandemic three years ago.🚐
There are about 600 production companies in 🇰🇷South Korea, but they may not be very complete yet. There are also South Korean styles that are so demanding that they can only be fancy on the outside.🧐
However, campervan life in the UK, Europe, and the US has a deep history, original and attractive.👍🏼🤩

This by far the longest video coverage of the festival. And it IS the best - by a country mile. You covered all the aspects of the festival. And you took the time and effort to show us the insides of some of the vans. You both took me/us on a proper tour of the festival. I'm grateful you did.

They have come a long way, my dad converted a VW Microbus in 1960 into a campervan, we went all over Africa in it. Somewhere I have a 8mm cine film of him shaving in the door mirror and in the background a herd of Giraffe lolloping along past. wish I could find film. We even shipped it to Britain in '62 and travelled around all over. Bet it be worth a fortune these days. Apparentley as a kid I found the heater switch under front bench seat just after he bought it and he was about to take it back due to extreme heat in SA heat summer 🤣🤣

I do personally love the old T1s, but finding one these days is like gold dust, and worth a fortune even before they are restored. Africa would be an amazing place to explore by camper but can sadly be an unsafe place.
