When my son was 3, my husband got a job in California. It was a really good opportunity, but we were in TX. He took the job, but it was hard. He was gone months at a time...I was taking care of the baby and trying to pack up the house and preparing it for sale. It was so hard. But we got through it! We got through it. I have no doubt that you will too! You guys are amazing and your are 100% correct that sometimes sacrifices need to be made and that support is key. I’m rooting for your family. My husband and I had to live apart for first year of our marriage. He worked in Los Angeles and our home, where I lived with the kids was in Texas. Being 1300 miles apart was so difficult. We had to get used to being apart and then when he was finally able to transfer to Dallas we had to get used to being together all the time again too. It was worth it and we've been married for 15.5 years now. When there is love you can make it thru anything.

We moved 500 miles away from my entire family and did not know anyone. He was not very understanding at first to what I was going through and I had to explain and show him. I was a stay at home mom but I made friends and was able to adapt quickly. I went back to college and was able to better myself. Got involved in neighborhood activities also.

Got married at 21 and this year will make 28 years married. We've experienced the long distance when he was in the Military and we were stationed in Germany. The months of Deployment and weeks of being in the field felt like an eternity. I was sooooo happy when he came home. To this day if one of us take a trip without the other we miss each so much. I love the love you and AlB have for each other. It shows without words. ❤❤❤

My husband and I were young parents with 4 children, I was in graduate school and student teaching and he had just started his government job. We had to make sacrifices, so we decided that he will works overnight until our children are teenager so 1 parent will be always available in the daytime. He went to most daytime school meetings and activities and I took care of all the evening and night time activities. 12 years later we are doing great and reminisce on how we did it. You guys going to to be ok Sam, you have to do what’s right for your growing family. With love!

I’ve been with my husband forever. We are best friends through on through. That being said he went away for work when I was pregnant for 3 months. 😱 i lasted one week before I went up there and stayed at his hotel. 😂 so more power to you, I admire your strength.

Husband worked in restaurants for years until he retired last year and now our son is a trainee chef, it's the most difficult job, restaurant work especially as a chef in France is no joke, I understand completely, I'm living in 31 south west France.Bon courage à toi et à ton mari. Sebrena here drinking St Germain with grapefruit and a hint of orange...I have been there homegirl--my hubby was a over the road trucker and each time he'd leave I would cry because he would be gone for weeks at a time. Fast forward when I had m son Johnny left for over the road and my son then was about 9 months; by this time when he came home he wold be upset my son was walking and he missed it all...Needless to say, he quit that job and got something closer to home and we have been together over 30 years---YOU CAN DO IT!
I love how much you support your husband because I’m the same way with my boyfriend we’re going on 6 years . We met in high school I’m 20 and he’s 21 and my boyfriend is away as well following his dream but will be back in 3 months as well. We still talk all of the time and FaceTime but understanding does play a huge part in a relationship. When you love someone you want them to succeed in life and do what they love but also someone who wants you as well to succeed and supports you too. Me and my boyfriend have more understanding and support than I have with anyone! I am young but we want to get married and he’s ready . My husband and I were young parents with 4 children, I was in graduate school and student teaching and he had just started his government job. We had to make sacrifices, so we decided that he will works overnight until our children are teenager so 1 parent will be always available in the daytime. He went to most daytime school meetings and activities and I took care of all the evening and night time activities. 12 years later we are doing great and reminisce on how we did it. You guys going to to be ok Sam, you have to do what’s right for your growing family. With love!

I’ve been with my husband forever. We are best friends through on through. That being said he went away for work when I was pregnant for 3 months. 😱 i lasted one week before I went up there and stayed at his hotel. 😂 so more power to you, I admire your strength.

Husband worked in restaurants for years until he retired last year and now our son is a trainee chef, it's the most difficult job, restaurant work especially as a chef in France is no joke, I understand completely, I'm living in 31 south west France.Bon courage à toi et à ton mari. Moi aussi j'apprends le français c'est une langue très belle mais difficile à apprendre. Bisous!

Hi Sam! Sebrena here drinking St Germain with grapefruit and a hint of orange...I have been there homegirl--my hubby was a over the road trucker and each time he'd leave I would cry because he would be gone for weeks at a time. Fast forward when I had m son Johnny left for over the road and my son then was about 9 months; by this time when he came home he wold be upset my son was walking and he missed it all...Needless to say, he quit that job and got something closer to home and we have been together over 30 years---YOU CAN DO IT!

I love how much you support your husband because I’m the same way with my boyfriend we’re going on 6 years . We met in high school I’m 20 and he’s 21 and my boyfriend is away as well following his dream but will be back in 3 months as well. We still talk all of the time and FaceTime but understanding does play a huge part in a relationship. When you love someone you want them to succeed in life and do what they love but also someone who wants you as well to succeed and supports you too. Me and my boyfriend have more understanding and support than I have with anyone! I am young but we want to get married and he’s ready . We are taking our time but are committed 100% and Ik it for the long run
