    I often say that my stand mixer is my baking best friend. Yes, I LOVE my grain mill and find it essential. But with it, I still just end up with flour (very good flour to be fair). BUT with a stand mixer, suddenly you can do SO much more in the kitchen! You can knead 2 sandwich loaves while you make tea or wash dishes.
    You can bake 34 dozen (YES, DOZEN!!) cookies in a single batch if you wanted to. A (good) stand mixer changes your life in the kitchen and I'm not being dramatic in the slightest!
    The Nutrimill Artiste is one sale this month through Sep 30, 2023. PLUS you'll get my favorite recipes to make in the artiste and training videos from me on how to use it. I want to set you up for success in your kitchen this year!
    Check out the awesome sale here: findingjoyshop.mykajabi.com/a...
    And then let me know in the comments if you have any questions!!

    I hv (3) KA mixers and I fail to see how a mixer made of plastic is made better than one made of metal. Because of the plastic housing, I’m not inclined to invest in either the Bosch or Nutrimill. I hv an older KA (Hobart) mixer, the K5SS, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. But, it’s definitely a personal preference…I hv (2) Zojirushi bread makers and they are the Rose Royce of bread machines. For grains, I use my Vitamix A3500 and the dry container for grinding and milling ingredients. Great info however…enjoy your new toy! 👍🏽

      The Kitchenaid's are fine for smaller 1-2 loaf of bread batches. The Artiste does do a better job kneading the bread, as you can go straight to the loaf pan and do a single dough rise and then bake it. I own both a vintage Hobart K5-A, and the Nutrimill Artiste and enjoy using both of them. In the end it comes down to what are you making with them that determines which mixer to use.

      I would looooove to! They seem like such amazing machines. But at $750+ it's just never been in my budget!

    Thanks for the great info. I've seen you talk about your Bosch, but knew it was more than I needed. I wondered about this one. This is so helpful, and I'll definitely consider as a future purchase.
    A question I always have... how is clean up? Are the attachments dishwasher safe?

      Cleans SUPER easy! No hidden cervices that make it hard to clean. I don't believe the accessories are dishwasher safe. But I prefer to hand wash those items anyway since it prolongs life. But the dough hook and whisks are super easy to hand wash!

    I am on the cusp of ordering the Bosch with Baker's kit and then this video popped up. My question for you is do you use the whisks for cookies and cakes? I thought whisks were primarily for incorporating air into product. Do you make mashed potatoes in your Bosch or this new Artiste? I'm trying to think of all the things I use my Kitchenaid for. Thanks.

    I just ordered the bosch during the Black Friday sale, but I wish I had seen your video on the Artiste. I think it would have been just fine for what I need. I guess I didn’t do enough research on it size and power because it seems to be the same as the bosch. I know bosch has a 3 year warranty versus the 1 year on the Artiste. But I know I will love the bosch. I got it with the bakers package. Oh, and I do have a kitchenaid that is 36 years old and still works great, but I wanted the bosch for making bread.

    I’ve heard complaints about the dough coming out the bottom of the mixer. Also it was mentioned that there is some special attachment to avoid that problem. What are your thoughts?

    Hi Jami, I am enjoying your videos. Todays video you mentioned a sale on this month but although I went to the Nutrimill site I saw nothing of a sale and all the refurbished was sold out. Where did you see a sale?

    Jami, I love that you said engine. 😂😂😂 Some of these products measure their strength in horsepower, right? So it totally makes sense!

    Great video. I knew about the Bosch but this is the first time I've heard about the Artiste. Must be fairly new out? If you already have a Bosch why did you get the Artiste (unless it was given to you)? Both ate just about one in the same no?

    Have you found there are things the Bosch can do that the Artiste can't? I am considering saving longer for a bosch or just buying an artiste? For context, I'm a homeschooling mom of 4 young kids and hope to make most of our bread products myself

    Is the bowl plastic? I envision it getting all scraped up and having the smell like my grandma's old tupperware... haha. I know I've missed the sale, but just keeping in mind for the future!

    Is the dough hook and other attachments metal or do they have a coating?
    I have very sensitive allergies and the KitchenAid has started coating all their attachments. That stopped me from wanting to put out the money for one and then I have heard from a few people they aren’t what they use to be.

      I knoooow! So sad to see with the kitchen aid! The website says the dough hook and whisks are high quality stainless steel. And I’ve had my set 5+ years and they get used many times a week and they look brand new still! So as far as allergies, they seem fine - no yucky coating or anything! Just stainless steel. They have terrific customer service though, I’m sure you could reach out and ask!!

    If you have a Bosch why would you need an Artiste?

    • @JamiBalmet
      @JamiBalmet  5 місяців тому

      You only need one! I like to be able to test out the different models to give my honest review! I went through rounds of testing grain mills once too. It allows me to give my advice and help on picking different models or devices :)

    I have been thinking about buying it but I would like to know if the bowl does not get stained if you make a red velvet? Does it use the same accessories as the Bosch?

    • @JamiBalmet
      @JamiBalmet  5 місяців тому

      I’ve never had the bowl stain before. But I don’t think I’ve ever used artificial red dye in it either so I can’t say for 100%. But I’ve never had it pick up any color ever! Yes, same accessories as the bosch. Not all the bosch attachments work though.

    Some people say the bread just goes around the bowl and doesn’t really knead the dough?

    • @JamiBalmet
      @JamiBalmet  5 місяців тому

      I think it kneads it great!

    What about the plastic part on the dough hook? Why make a part of the attachment that is for the heaviest group of ingredients out of plastic? Wouldn't it be better to be entirely made of metal

      I’m sure it would be! :)
