She is wonderful, as always, but hearing her magnificent Rachmaninov, I was reminded that three months before, she captivated audiences (and jury) of Moscow in the Tchaikovsky Competition. She played the Concerto No. 3. Unforgettable! I've only seen the videos of the rehearsals, but is the same. Yeol Eum always plays with the same truth, with the same poetry, with the same life force. No matter if she plays with jeans and sneakers or with the beautiful dresses that she wears. And she looks equally charming, of course.
