A few teams was at historical pace this year in offense , the Pacers were the number 1 offense at one point and was at a historical pace , but fell off ever since and defense is be played better

Giannis means "Dame is another leader for this team" Dame compliments Giannis in his shooting, confidence and late game poise. They can make it work and are looking great so far!!
This is still the same thing as we had with Jrue Holiday. These type of players iso scorer are not great fits with Giannis. They all need the ball in their hands to be effective and that's a major problem.

I love your guys’s analysis, but one critique which goes for media as a whole, not just you guys. Is the back to back conversation. Why do teams like Boston and LAC constantly get excuses for falling short on back to backs. But when Milwaukee or the thunder do it it’s considered a big deal? There needs to be consistency, either there are no expectations for teams on a b2b or no excuses. But chalking up a loss as “tired legs” for one team and “outplayed by a better team” for another is frustrating.
But again, I think of that you guys add more to it, so this is more directed at the general media
For clarification: I think your analysis on the thunder/lakers game was correct. But I don’t think b2b should be excuses for any team. Not just Boston and the clippers and a select other few
I completely agree with what you’re saying. With that said. Nba has more than enough clout with arenas these days to never have back to backs or 5 games in 7 nights.
Without extenuating circumstances, The most games players should play in a 4-7 day period is 2-4.
Have in-season tourney games only Thursday thru Saturday. Group teams moreso by time zone and distance, than division or randomly.
They have the distance numbers. Find a way to make the longest distanced road trips for 2/3 teams occur in the middle to end part of the year.
Eliminate home at home games. We don’t need less games. We already have more time in the season. Maybe add a little more and actually schedule things with players health in mind.
Championship contenders get the back to back benefit because they have less time in the offseason to recover beacuse of the long playoff stretches. A lot of those guys dont get fully healthy and in rhythym until now
The only time when wins actually matter, the playoffs, there are zero back-to-backs
Also it's more impactful for older legs
cuz the media has MASSIVE large market bias, which is why there's been hardly anything positive said about Milwaukee, Minnesota, or OKC all season

Ya i thought they won bc of BP. He had like 20 points - but half of those were in critical or clutch times. Moreso, the bucks won bc they cared more than those guys in LA who are too cool to care. They are the definition of resting on one's laurels.
Reaves did a great job on SGA, stayed with him on dribble combos, stayed down on fakes, and had solid contests on shots. Was really impressed by him.
Starting to have a lot of faith in the starting line-up. Reaves on his contract is an amazing deal.

No we wouldn't because he couldn't play off the ball effectively and his defense and size was worst than Jrue

Dame , a big part of the issue is I didn't know how much he relied on driving to the rim hoping to get fouled. They got him for the post season and to hit big shots , he has done both early in the season in games that were close , they were vrs lesser teams but so were The Bucks . The whole point is if a team is able to stop Giannis that means he has to have 2-3 bodies on him , that's when Dame needs to shine.
The real question what the deal is with Khris? I really hope they are just sitting him until like the last 3-4 games and just have play a few minutes , one of his strengths is being able to come off resting and start shooting daggers , it's more about just letting him move his legs a real time to hopefully be able to have him playing solid defense like he has been great at before.

OKC is counting on a long timeline they don't necessarily have; not going for the title this year will most likely come to bite them in the ass down the line. If they manage to keep their core together, let's hope they draft an elite defender like Dunn this '24 Draft.
