Great to have the first post-prototype R151 seen rocketing into the station just like what I used to always see at Joo Koon as a child. At the same time it is worth noting that 061/062 is another KHI with a 1986 builder plate besides our oldest two trains, and it would be surprising if this year it really is celebrating its 38th birthday. And the fact that the first subject to use the new TENG chimes on CGL and the rest of the system respectively was a 051/052 with shortly after 351/352's end of life, 651/652 launching it on NSL officially makes it such a coincidential doing, possibly to honour that legacy train or compensate for its 'premature' retirement
Hopefully the siding will start operations soon and we can see how these trains enter and exit the sidings for elevated stations for the first time and the EWL headway will also improve as well hopefully
Now it will look like Marina South Pier and not Platform A will be a Do Not Board platform like in Marina South Pier and Platform B will be the only one that will operate
Honestly speaking 213/214's flatwheels (Not fixed even after the MIA) are becoming concerning to me as they sound as destructive as 345/346's before that train got retired. Since wheels are actually one of the most easily components on any train all the remaining non-KSFs with flatwheels should have them replaced to make most of part of of their current life stage and also prevent damage to the rails Also a winner seems to have emerged for the first R151 to have significant flatwheels and that would be 829/830, as I could hear from the middle two cars though when riding it cannot be clearly heard
