- Our first grand-scale scenario for the grand campaign!
In this scenario, Artaphernes looks to waylay the Greek army before it can arrive at their stronghold. Once you do that, you need to build up your forces and take down the city.

Hey Ornlu as much as I like your channel, I get really stressed out with your play style, like base being attack and whole army just scouting around😆. Anyways its fun to watch.
i really enjoyed this mission, beautiful map, plenty of stuff to do and not a too extensive naval part. I wished for a little bit more resitance from ephesus but u cant have it all

Hey ornlu, i presume you already did every mission in the new campaign. I have an issue, probably just my brain not braining but, in the mission 8, marathon, how the hell do i light the false fire signal ?
I dunno 11. I just checked and I didn't do that objective. I'm replaying the scenarios on stream to get the achievements, so I'm sure I'll figure it out soon!
In the middle of the map there is an orange lumber camp. Take Themistocles to it and it will give you a villager to build the false fires.

@@charlesl3847 Ok, I just did it again to get the steps down. Just make sure you've done each step and it's guaranteed to work.
First, you have to wait for the audio and text telling you that there are traitors and signal fires. Destroy the 5 signal fires in the north.
After which, you'll need to eliminate all enemies near the orange lumber camp in the middle of the map.
Once you have, it should trigger an audio saying you have to look for wood. Take Themistocles to the lumber camp it will spawn a villager and pan the screen over to the North-West where three palisade wall foundations will spawn. Build those and you'll have completed the signal fire quest.

@@GuanacoChe Thx you, but that is already what i did. The villager just isn't spawning. I tried it multiple times, on different difficulties.
Remember this all happens before Alexander the Great conquest and before the rise of Rome.
