I’m must not clean brushes properly. I always end up with rust at the metal band, not good when I go to use a white paint next. I use Purdy brushes.
My oval Cling On brushes lost their strings (I think I got them too wet when washing and they just started to unravel) but the shape has remained really nice. Cling On are definitely great quality. I've never tried Staalmeester but would love to try one of their Spalter Palm brushes. I'm a lover of flat palm brushes, but mine are all natural and synthetic blends. I need a good synthetic only palm for decoupage and blending. Though I will say that a natural/synthetic blend block or palm brush works well for blending also, in my opinion. I have the Caddie from Paint Pixie and it's a fantastic brush.
What about using carpet cleaning products or fabric detergents to clean brushes
I'm trying 2 send pics of the paint bottles. Sorry, bare with me. But they say "Chalk Paint" on the bottles. The brand is, Artskills Crafters Closet Art Basics. Colors...Black, White & Ivory.
Question...do you have to neutralize Green EZ the same as you do with CitruStrip? Denatured Alcohol or Mineral Spirits?

Hi Brandy. I always learn so much from you but the info on the brushes today was exceptional. TY. Hey real quick...I believe you did a video on chalk paints not long ago & if I remember correctly you said that Annie Sloan & Annie Sloan alone owns the rights to call her paints "Chalk Paint". Do I remember correctly? Because I went to a Dollar General here in my town in Michigan & found this...let me know if you can plz. TY Tonda
Yes, she dies have a trademark on the words together, some brands have had to change their packaging, usually they use another word n conjunction like chalk synthesis paint, chalk style paint, etc

Good info..but wish you would have been a bit more organized in your presentation. I kept getting confused and lost
