Thank you for making this video! I'm installing a set of these i bought used. I tried to pull the spindle loose per another video...but it wont budge (living in the rust belt sucks). I will put your bottle jack idea to work tomorrow! The longer strut is making wife difficult lol. Thanks!
No problem! Thanks for watching I hope that trick works out for you!
Very informative.
Thanks!
Great work
Thank you 🙏🏾
Good job man!
Thank you! 👊🏾
So you have the 3 inch lift front and 3 inch block rear ?
Yup
Did it throw off your an arm angle having 3 inches or having to cut the bump stop?
Not at all. The RC control arms helped the ball joint angle. The CV shafts are probably at peak angle, I haven’t went in 4WD with the struts but I’ve only busted 1 CV axle prior with the lift spacers.
@@FUApparel trying debate if I want to go 2 inch on that strut with the level one they offer or go 3 I want to tow my race car so I don’t want to compromise to much
Wait, you didn’t tell us how the front end feels on the road. How does it ride?
You’re right 🤦🏾♂️ it feels a lot better but I’ve got tie rods to replace and it needs an alignment though so I haven’t completely finished. I only pull it out on the weekends.
I got the motofab 2.5 spacer blocks that goes on the lower control arm but was wondering if it’s a bad idea to install them I need clearance for 33s my mechanic wanted me to buy the strut spacers on top because he said the blocks will not work but I already bought the blocks. Should I just install the blocks?
I started with the lower spacer but I didn’t run 33s until I put the top strut spacer on. 2.5 might be enough to clear if you’re not running spacers
@@FUApparel okay yeah I’ll probably just put em on see if they fit and if not I’ll just get the whole assembly like yours from rc
