The Fifth and Final Season of Netflix' "F is For Family" just premiered this Thanksgiving. If you didn't know yet, Haley voices the main character of "Bill" the cartoon representation of a young Bill Burr, the comedian who voices his father character "Frank" and is also one of the show's executive producers and writers.

1. When Haley gets audio from live shows, she has to record & mix it herself. My video “I Put a Spell On You” from Marion on Haley’s UA-cam has audio her tour manager recorded & mixed by her guitarist, Balam Garcia.
2. When I got full access in NYC, I arrived early to set up 3 cameras & my external mic. Half hour before they opened doors, the venue manager told me they charge $250 per camera. I don’t monetize this channel, it’s expensive to travel/lodging NYC, so I sure as hell wasn’t going to spend $750 for video… Haley’s tour manager told me they wanted to record too, but they were also charged.
3. The last 4 times I’ve had the opportunity to plug into the mixer, 4 times the audio was unusable. The engineer plugged it in, so I don’t know why, luckily I had back up an external mic.
I’ve only ever got great board audio a handful of times, a couple Haley asked me not to post.
4. If this was so easy, why are there not more channels like mine? 🤷🏻♂️
@@jgold78 I don’t mean to sound terse but I try the best I can out of my own pocket & efforts to bring Haley to fans. The music community is very small, it’s important to not be a prick or pushy, bad behavior & news travels fast. I’m only here to promote these artists and will never act like a big shot and demand things.
Furthermore it’s busy for the venue & artists before a show, do they need me to be in the way? IMO part of the reason Haley gives me access is I do my own thing and stay out of her way at showtime. Haley giving me access also means I “represent” her to these venues in a way. If the engineer offers the audio, great! If they don’t, it’s not my place to ask…
People have asked me this for years as if it’s easy to just stroll into a music venue & just plug into a board…
Maybe some videographers have the connections to get them, but unless the engineers or Haley offers it, I do what I can the best I can.
@@HaleysTusk most sound guys will have a tape recorder and will be happy to record if you provide a tape.
If I had the energy to be a stalker, Haley would be in trouble😉
