Don’t hear from her anymore? She’s starring on a hit show, just released a new album a couple years ago and is literally always in the tabloids. Maybe she hasn’t stripped off all her clothes and run naked through Central Park, but she’s doing pretty damn good. The difference is, she didn’t go nuts after Disney. She stayed more or less the same role model she was. She didn’t feel a need to “shed the image.” She just matured and let her core fans mature too. So she gets tons of respect for that. She also has never felt a need to get too far away from what she’s good at. Don’t fix what isn’t broke.

I used to be obsessed with her clothing line! It made me want to become a fashion designer! I’m disappointed on how this video was made as well. It’s as if they did NO research and just took what they can remember off the top of their heads then slapped it together into a 5 minute video😒

Nadia Christine Duggin, I know your comment is a couple of years old but I wanted to chime in and say that I have always thought so. I never worked for her or met her. I could always tell when I was younger that she had a good heart. I was a huge fan of her when I was in junior high to high school. I am glad to after all of these years; she has managed to keep her head on straight and not let the anxiety (and fame) of Hollywood get to her. I will admit that I am still a fan of hers. Her earlier music might be "immature" but it is nostalgia for me! I am glad that she is truly how she comes across.
She's minding her business and slowed down her career on purpose to live less in the spotlight, she's happy on younger and spending time with her son. Who's nicki swift?

I have been a really big Duff fan since her Disney days and still a huge fan till this day. And she has a hit tv show right now with Younger..as for her music career her last album “Breath In Breath Out” charted at number 5 on billboard that’s actually really good since it was her first album in 8 years before that..as for ppl saying she’s overrated or outdated..what you want her to do? She’s staying true to who she is. She doesn’t need to strip or stick her tongue out to be in hot topics. She’s made a name for herself doing what she does. And she is literally the only former Disney star that hasn’t had any controversies, scandals, dug addiction etc.. She’s always been out of the tabloids in that part which I admire so much about her. She’s amazing at what she does and I hope she continues to be a role model. Hilary, Raven, and Demi to me are great role models.

Being a new FTM myself, I couldn't imagine having to work a day job AND take care of my 6 month old daughter. I applaud mothers who do it, because I really learned these past 6 months just HOW HARD BEING A MOM IS. Clearly, I stay at home with my daughter, and even though some things get easier, at the same time, some things get harder. She's just starting to become mobile, and now I have to keep my eye on her even more. It's tough, so the fact that Hilary got back on her career game at all after having her son, especially having her son 3 years younger than I had my daughter, is an extremely amazing thing. You go girl.

I think the reason why her career faded out was cause she didn't change or update her style, she just stuck to the same 2000s girl next door image til it got to a point of boredom. What I've noticed with some of the biggest stars in the world (Britney, Madonna, MJ) was that they didn't stay with their old image forever, they EVOLVED to keep their career fresh and to keep people interested!

Alyce C Oliver Yes, she co-wrote all but one song in the album and the lyrics actually showed depth under the facade of dance beats. She was criticized for the sudden image change at the age of 20, but now people can be far racier than her at 17 or less. For this reason she first scrapped the follow-up work led by Reach Out (which was again panned for being too sexy at the age of 21!), and then released her 2015 album which is a compromise after two singles were being considered "too folk, too Taylor Swift". She's never taken very seriously as a recording artist imo.

Season 4 of Younger is already in Hulu, has been for a week. Also, a week prior to the [remier of season 4, the show got renewed for two more seasons. Is doing great ;)
I love Hillary Duff especially on her Disney show!!!!
Most of her fellow child stars disappeared or became a caricature like Lindsay Lohan or Miley Cyrus. She grown up well and did a bunch of interesting creative things. It's not bad that she isn't on the cover of the tabloids all the time. She is still beautiful, Sweet and very talented. I wish her the best and hope she will have a normal, happy life a long career.
I used to be a BIG FAN of hers when I was kid! She was my idol! My first CD and concert were from her! But now looking back in an objective adult p.o.v:
she wasn't really all that special as I made her out to be: her voice wasn't all that, her songs all sounded the same and she played the same "girl next door" in each movie she did, what she needed was diversity! Trying out different types of roles and music sounds instead of repeating the same ol tired thing!

Always liked her, she’s a good actress and singer. Her show on Disney was a big part of my childhood. Always loved watching Lizzie Megure. Forgot she was on Law n Order SVU. Another favorite of mine. Nice to see she never had some catastrophic breakdown or turned into some over the top slut like some of the other former Disney actresses.
