Weirdest thing was how excited I was to tell all my friends and family about it but it was basically like banging my head against a brick wall. Guess they still need their own eureka moment to set them off. I started investing in the stock market almost immediately. I'd tried a few "get rich quick schemes" previously which never worked then I realised compound interest is a "get rich slow scheme", but at least you get rich! Also when I first started staking crypto I always thought of it as interest on the future value of the token rather than the current value. It is mind blowing indeed 😁
James, I moved my Sol bag from Kucoin to my Ledger during the uncertain times last year. I wish you can make a step by step video on how to go from there to stake my sol. 🙏

I came here to learn how to invest after listening to a guy on radio talk about the importance of investing and how he made $960,000 in 4 months from $160k, somehow this video has helped shed light on some things, but I'm still confused, I'm a newbie and I'm open to ideas.

Excellent content @InvestAnswers. Can you put a video together of the evaluation of top Staking pools within Solana based on criteria that will minimise the risk in putting Solana into those pools?
Also, can you explain the discrepancy in SOL's valuation in relation to its fundamentals? The blockchain generated ~2mil in fees last month (in comparison to ETH generating ~160mil). Looks like SOL holders are still banking on future adoption. Maybe I'm looking at this wrong, but thought this might be a good topic to discuss?
Blockchain fees aren’t the best way to evaluate a chain… that’s like saying ETH should be evaluated higher than bitcoin because it has more expensive fees
O what’s the difference between staking here vs. DOT, ADA, AVAX & MATIC…..?! Seems to me the best decision would be to stake directly on all of these chains seeing how they all have real world adoption….
Staking is great, but it comes with RISK. Just hold if you don’t understand the risks of staking. Coins can be locked in pools or lost forever. Stake wisely (i.e. different wallets, percent of your bag, etc.) or don’t stake at all. Good luck everyone!
Im honestly scared to stake due to the possible ramifications. My question is it worth doing it on Coinbase. I know their returns are low but with my little knowledge of staking it seems to be the least risk. Open to correction and/or education on the subject matter.
I've staked there for the past year and a half and no hiccups. Read the terms. Each coin has different restrictions concerning staking you need to take into account.
I did it through my ledger and just used figment as the validator. I'm in the process of learning and googling a lot about it and will most likely end up using 2-4 validators. @@dot8041

The crypto whisperer strikes again, true OG in the space. Huge respect James 👏
Engaging in an individual market option is fair, but its performance level can’t generate high dividends. Diversification is the secret to optimal performance, that’s why I have my interest set on options based on projected growth and performance._
can you explain in full on the options you’re into•

where would you stake sol ? name a few places to do so :) thanks for a good video
Exodus wallet
We are lucky to have you as well brother
I remember it feeling like a eureka moment a few years ago when I first read properly about compound interest.
James, the data my friend who is a MP at a PE fund in NY indicated we are in a bear market, bull rally. Just saying, that's what the data says. Great content! and i am loving this bear bull rally
My cost basis is $19. 🎉 But, will most likely go up as I buy more over time.
Doesn’t matter. Your cash is still making money. Better than a bank right now
Patreon member here! We love you James ! Amazing alpha over and over again.
You're the best!
Newbie here, why are we not concerned about the unlimited supply of Solana?
shhhhh, don't be a buzzkill.
Thanks James for the TA for sol staking. Based on Sol $3.2k Price Target. That would makes Total Crypto mktcap at $15T and sol dominance at 9% that would makes SOL at $1.35T Mktcap. Based on the IA models you have provide. very conservative Target!
Been staking my SOL holdings (set on 'auto-stake') and it's been amazing
Where can we stake ?🎉
Where to stake!?
Figment on Ledger
James please do a video on SEI Network. New L1 faster than Solana.
I thought 100 Sol was a feat of its own but yet people are talking thousands and tens of thousands of Sol. Compounding interest or not with my low income and the lack of play money living off the interest is out of the cards for me.
You know things are heating up when you get a scam ad before the video begins.
Problem is WHO to trust staking! I have 0 faith in anyone in this space yet
I came here to learn how to invest after listening to a guy on radio talk about the importance of investing and how he made $960,000 in 4 months from $160k, somehow this video has helped shed light on some things, but I'm still confused, I'm a newbie and I'm open to ideas.
Timing is everything! I'm all about ICOs and presales for that maximum profit, and Staxum is looking like a gem in the making. Potential 50x? Count me in!
Much appreciated James and community!
so welcome, I think you can tell I LOVE doing this

Hey James! Would you be able to do a BTC price prediction strategy for the coming 3 years? I'm wondering what your opinion on where BTC is at in terms of the Old bear and bull cycles. NFA of course. Very curious as to what you think
The history of Bitcoin you covered was fascinating!
The new 60/40 portfolio. Solana = stocks, Bitcoin = bonds.
Thank you sir for this paid presentation, love the content always, Cheers.
I’m one of below 9 dollars solana pickers. I remember that dump clearly and james words echoing in my ear: “layer in hard”. Thank you james from istanbul.
Which other crypto you R buying Now... Please help.. how do you hear early about SOL..?
Ali, Please help I always hear when crypto is top and lose hope when it's bottom.hence loose
Excellent content @InvestAnswers. Can you put a video together of the evaluation of top Staking pools within Solana based on criteria that will minimise the risk in putting Solana into those pools?
You read my mind. Perfect timing and great as usual.
thank you for the thank info James! got a Huge part of my sol position at $30
wow nice
Where is it safe to stake solana?
Fantom wallet,coinbase wallet, Bingx,metamask,exodus wallet.
I’m also curious about this metric. Does the significantly cheaper fees on Solana impede the chains future potential? Or limit its peak valuation?
For staking what is the best choice of 50%, 80% or Maximum? I wil appreciate your answer
5.7k+...Thanks James
O what’s the difference between staking here vs. DOT, ADA, AVAX & MATIC…..?! Seems to me the best decision would be to stake directly on all of these chains seeing how they all have real world adoption….
You Left out the most critical piece-- how to stake and who to stake with?
I don’t know where to stake. I was hoping you could provide options/entities in general terms. Possible?
Yeah he missed the most important part
I use the wallet Exodus 7% for Sol
Search his channel, he has made a video on staking before.
Do you stake ALL your SOL? or just portion of it because of the risks
Stake with a ledger and no risks from staking.
This is great and I agree. But when you have bear market the staking reward is lowered. Where is the best place to buy Sol and stake it it with whom?
Hey James what about pools? Did you try orca, I'm having fun with render, rlb, bonk, polis etc next to SOL. Returns are crazy easy 100% annual...
Staking is great, but it comes with RISK. Just hold if you don’t understand the risks of staking. Coins can be locked in pools or lost forever. Stake wisely (i.e. different wallets, percent of your bag, etc.) or don’t stake at all. Good luck everyone!
But we cant buy it at $20 anymore :) So it would be more realistic to ran these numbers with a $60 SOL
Surely you can work this out for yourself? $60 price, 10000 sol, $600000 cost basis, end result is the same just the ROI is less.
But you have 10000 coins?? I think it is a example.
45 SOL = 855 SOL coins

Price check 😜
@James what do you think about providing liquidity on dexs where you can earn between 20 to 30% return? Thanks for all your great work
Im honestly scared to stake due to the possible ramifications. My question is it worth doing it on Coinbase. I know their returns are low but with my little knowledge of staking it seems to be the least risk. Open to correction and/or education on the subject matter.
.
Don’t be afraid just do it!
I exactly. M advice don’t stake all at one place
Download the wallet Exodus, so far i have got an extra 11 Sol through staking.
I've staked there for the past year and a half and no hiccups. Read the terms. Each coin has different restrictions concerning staking you need to take into account.
James can you make video where to stake Solana

Raoul Pal also claimed Etherium would see $20,000 by the end of 2021. Solana’s his new book…
I have been staking coins for about 2 years now (1 year on SOL). So goooood!
How do you stake !? Plz help.
Thanks James for all this info! Could you speak/advise me on which validators are good to use etc seeing that their are 100's to choose from. thanks
I've finally staked my SOL yesterday, thanks for all you do.
What do you have to do to stake it? Can you do this on ledger or trezor? How did you find validators?
I did it through my ledger and just used figment as the validator. I'm in the process of learning and googling a lot about it and will most likely end up using 2-4 validators. @@dot8041
