I have the Z H2 SE and i love the bike. Power delivery is fantastic and it is a comfortable ride over a distance. Having that power low down the rev range makes the Z H2 an exciting ride without having to ring the bikes neck. The only real negative which really does not affect everyday riding on the roads is the fact its heavier than the MT10 so you may be able to throw the MT10 around a bit more. I also have a Suzuki GSXS750 and its a great bike for the twisty B roads over Wales so i understand the benefit of a lighter bike. Think the Z H2 looks better than the MT10 but the Z H2 is marmite to some people.
I traded my MT10 SP in last month for a 2022 ZH2 SE which i have just had a tune put on today and now makes 217.6 bhp at the back wheel. the ZH2 throttles are restricted when stock and the tune has released them to 100% and the power is now immediate and Jesus its very fast and very responsive. but it also smooths the bike out even more its brilliant. as for the MT10 i am a Yamaha fan boy had loads of them and still have a YZF 750R. awesome bike the MT10 awesome handling awesome performance but the thirstiest bike i have ever owned lol. they just want you to make them spank there arses all day. Kawasaki is deffo much more refined and with the ECU flash is utterly brilliant from what I can tell so far its unleased its potential. both brilliant both very individual and both have that awesome Japanese reliability. And oh the MT10 would destroy the ZH2 on a track itsamuch better handling bike
The MT10 just has character that makes it impossible to give up even for it being down on power compared to other super nakeds. Every time I ride my 2019 i'm grinning from ear to ear, but sure it sucks after 140mph lol. Haven't ridden a 2nd gen yet but I hope they can fix the fugly out of it for 3rd gen.....
Both are very nice bikes I think I’d choose the mt10 myself out of the two I’ve only sat on the zh2 and I didn’t like it but the mt10 was nice and felt more comfortable to me but like I said I haven’t ridden either bike bye for now
I had a zh2. I thought the wheelie control was good, used to just hold the wheelie where it caught it. Try a cb1000r or something, where they literally close the throttle and slam ya nuts into the tank
You need to ride a Tuono 1100 V4. It is a bonkers bike with the best sound in motorcycling today. Also it's chassis is unbelievably good. It will out handle both the ZH2 and the MT10.
I wonder if you've ever compared a factory zh2 vs one which has its ecu flashed and 50 more horsepower with aftermarket suspension. That would be interesting I think.
just had my ZH2 flashed today its 217 bhp at the back wheel and i traded an MT10 sp in for the ZH2. its chalk and cheese a stock ZH" to a tuned one. absolutely smooth linear power and a 45 bhp WHP gain . transforms the bike completely
Shame the MT-10 sounds so underpowered (almost sounds like a 400), although that might just be the video. With the ZH2 you can sense the power just from the rumble of the engine - and while I understand this has to do with EU regs it's a shame that the MT-10 seems to lack this grunt.
i love my zh2 it's an amazing week end toys but the weight and the size of the bike start to bother me my mt09 his just better for commuting because of the weight (50kg between the two) and the manoeuvrability MT10 is great bike but it lack a bit on top of the rev range and it's just ugly + i'm sur it will have a big update soon like they have done with the MT09 but now the R1 is out i hope it will have crazy power
The looks of the mt09 are devisive,if ypu change the exhsust and get the ECU flashed it's s different bike,I had a go on one and it makes it the bike it always should've been fab motor.
the mid range torque fun wheelie smile grin --need to kind a short shift 7k--9k MT10 really that much fun and sound with a pipe is the sell point ! best sounding
ZH2 all day ! I have had bolth. I will say it is easier to do wheelies on the MT. The power is a little more controllable in the high RPM. Handling definitely goes to the ZH2 in my opinion. You definitely noticed the weight of the H2, pushing it around the garage and what not but when you’re riding the bike around, you don’t notice it.
cannot get anywhere near excited about either of these super nakeds....i'm totally in the market for a sn - having had an s1000r and now a tuono factory - i suppose i am spoiled now. if ever moving from a tuono, id got for streetfighter or sd1390. these two are 'wish' like.
It is very hard to beat the Tuono. I have one. The Streetfighter is more top endy and has less mid range than the Tuono which makes it better on the street. I would not even consider a KTM with all the issues.

ZH2 rocks !!
Ive got the SP10 had it decat full Akro and remapped wow what a sound and bike love it.
Unfortunately They made the MT-10 ugly... It use to be one hell of a decepticon. It might grow on me if I see it in person who knows.
Agreed. Its horrendous, however, someone made a "mod" with two wings underneath the headlight which completely transforms the bike.
On a serious note, unless you have ridden an MT10 with ALL the rider aids and wheelie BS turned OFF, you haven't ridden an MT10.

That tune is next for me too
Totally transforms the ZH2 but i did put a steering damper on it before the tune@@SuperDirtbikeguy
Update. I am now selling my ZH2 and going back to the MT10 SP.
@@Carvetii reason why? if you don't mind me asking :) I'm looking at an MT-09SP, MT-10SP or ZH2 (standard)

The SP is even more brillianter. The Ohlins suspension takes it to the next level. I miss my ‘23 SP sometimes, that crossplane engine is sublime
Superbe vidéo merci ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
What's your favorite?
Would you please ride the triumph rocket 3r 2500cc 221nm 167hp

please try out the cb1000r

The tuono is too unreliable and definitely more on the aggressive end to be put in the same category as this to be fair
@@fentimanway1 Nope Mine is very reliable. The early ones had some issues but they are fine now.

@@jimboulter3615 Did you read my post properly? I said that it might be the video, but it still sounds underpowered.
@@roof30 yeh, I read ur post. And I’m asking if u have ridden one? I’m not having a dig. Just asking.
You didn’t use the quick shifter at all on the MT-10 smh… 😂😂😂

i rode the mt10 sp its a great bike but Aprilia Tuono Factory 1100 its even better.
Agreed. That is why it keeps winning the MCN super naked of the year.

@@fyorbane had a ktm for four years now after buying it new. Never had any issues with it but I know other experiences do exist :-)
I thought the street fighter may be my route into having my first ever Ducati but the power curve in comparison with the tuono slightly put me off.
Well its a z "zee" H2. Dunno wth a zed is. Dont see zed h2 in its name ;)
Like to see mt10 vs 1390
No. It is Zed. It is English. Zee is a bastardised version done by the Yanks.
Cp2 motors sound like shit
Cp2 which bike has that
