  • The adidas Tyshawn 2 is here and it is a BANGER OF A SKATE SHOE. Tyshawn and adidas definitely went CRAZY putting this skate shoe together and it has a lot of really good features. The most important features are the Duo Layered Toe Box and the Lightning Strike Midsole. Those two features alone upgrade the Tyshawn 2 far beyond the original Tyshawn and the Tyshawn Low. These skate shoes have treated me really well and I find myself skateboarding more confidently and I feel like I look good in the shoe and for a leather skate shoe, these really grip the board well! Hope you guys enjoy this review/first impressions vid. Make sure you guys subscribe to keep up with this Tyshawn 2 Journey! #skateboarding #adidas #adidasskateboarding #skateshoes #sneakers

    I love the look of these! I wish the leather wasn’t brown when the white wears away though! I might get a pair when they have suede or nubuck. I love leather shoes just not so much for skating.

      Hopefully the suede ones drop really soon. I also hope they use the tongue straps on the inside.

    compared to the first tyshawns and especially the tyshawn low (the low and mid are quite different) how WIDE or Narrow are these? I'm hoping as wide or wider. If narrower than the OG please let me know!

    • @JaySkateDay
      @JaySkateDay  День тому +1

      These are wider than both the OG and the low. It’s kinda interesting how different these are from the originals. It’s not an insane difference in fit but they are wider over all but the toe is sharper. Best way I can say it is that these have more of a fine tip like the busenitz vulc but a wider fit than them.

    • @dneck
      @dneck День тому

      @@JaySkateDay ok word. wider is my only wishlist item for this shoe. however the busenitz and its pointy toe is not my fav shoe. gonna try the all black ones, they look sick, thanks for the quick reply. BTW skatepark of tampa has these and you can get 30% off thru 7/5 with the code on their homepage BOOM30 , no i don't work for them but skated there once and it was sick

    How’s the sizing because with some adidas im 8 and some im 8.5

    • @JaySkateDay
      @JaySkateDay  Місяць тому +1

      Best way I can explain this is whatever you got in the first Tyshawn or the Tyshawn low stick to that same size if those fit you right. If you’ve worn the busenitz or the Nora’s before I’d get the same size in those if you haven’t done Tyshawn’s shoe before. For me all of these shoes fit me true to size so I get the same size in them all.

    cool shoe but if it wasn't for his name on it i'd think it was another aloha shoe or lucas puig pro model, there's literally nothing that was carried over by the first tyshawn.. its like adidas gave up and was like lets just put tyshawns name on it.. it really looks like a mashup of the aloha super and old puig pro models

      It does look like the aloha and the Puig had a kid honestly. I know he picked from models already made in the past for this one. He did the same for the first but I think the first one had a little more of a personal twist in it than these did. I could be wrong though.

      @@JaySkateDay hurts my toes, the inner part of the toecap like on the outside of my shoes is ripping somehow. Wont get tight, even with me tying it as tight as I can it slips right off. Constantly comes untied, and it has the durability of a dollar store t-shirt. They only have 6 hours of skating on them too. After the first session the side piece of the toe cap where you ollie was falling off and I had to shoe goo it on.
