Amazing Singer..When I hear this song and others she sings It makes me think of my late Mum and Dad.Both in WW2 both young and doing their duty..They never shied away from the Call...Like so many back then they Rose to the challenge..I wonder howmany now of the WOKE crowd would do that..What would their Inspirational song be..something from Cardi B ;)
It was a idea of the Dutch showmaster Willem Duys and is recorded in the Netherlands with the dutch Maastreechter staar choir. After that it became a worldwide hit.
Oh Dame Vera Lynn....one of the absolute BEST OF BRITAIN
RIP Vera your country salutes you
Brilliant. Can never understand why this is not the English national anthem, at least for sports events.
What in increbible voice❤❤❤
One can hear every letter of every word. She has a beautiful voice.
Wish we heard this more today. We were taught to be proud of our British and Scotish heritage, even though we were born in USA.
Love you Vera
Thank you posting this great lady. Some of the so-called sreaming so-called stars of today should listen to her perfect diction and learn how to sing.. This should be our national anthem.
Wonderful :-)
Britain,keep your heritage!
She deserves the Queen of England.
Adoro!!!
RIP Britain.
