Death in Paradise is a favourite series ❤ Really enjoyed this Murdermas Series. I hope you are wrapping books for next year! I laughed at your newsflash when I saw it - very clever 😊
I loved all of your Murdermas videos. I learned about the Lady Sherlock series from the last video and have just started reading it and am really enjoying it. So thank you for the recommendation!
Such a great series. A new series suggestion. Could you do Christmas in July and make the two remaining Winter books the white elephants and wrap Summer/Island Mysteries to reveal and read?
I get it. I think that listing sort of opening would drive me slightly nuts. Okay. Rim of the Pit sounds really interesting. I love when they tease that it may be supernatural, but also may not. I love that sort of back-and-forth. Oh no! You are having such bad luck with books. Also, absolutely that should have been dnf'ed. It sucks because it had such potential, but oh well. Time to move on to something better. I do love the idea of a book that feeds my need to learn about animals. I may have to look into it. That look on your face at the end of Solitude was awesome and exactly what you want to see on a reader's face. Haha. I've seen Creepy Cat floating around and never picked it up, but your enthusiasm might change my mind. Love the news screen. That is awesome.
Listen... the way I cackled at "dainty ankles". How scandalous! I agree so much about writing out someone's accent! I don't need you to write it out. This is one instance where I'd much rather you tell than show. Unless it's something where they are saying the wrong word for something and it's an important part of the conversation, I don't need you to beat me over the head with it.
I’m not gonna lie that’s kind of why I avoid Agatha Christie- I mean beside the fact that I’m not a mystery girlie. After learning her book was gonna be called ten little (bad word) I was like yeah no
@@rainybluereads Yeah that one is tough because all the title acts as for that one is to replicate the lyrics to a real life minstrel song from the 19th century. With that said, there are definitely books that include antisemitism and racism. I stand by being a fan of her work and what she did to revolutionize the mystery genre, all while openly addressing the issues within her pages. I suppose it can be compared to modern fans of still living author JK Rowling. But also 100% agree that DNFing is always justified!!
@@leandrathetbrzerooh yeah I totally get that- and that didn’t necessarily make me write her off- I tried another book after that one, and she just wasn’t for me, so I understand!! And also yeah you’re right with the jk Rowling comparison, it’s so hard when those books are the reason I am a reader, but then it’s also like I don’t wanna support the author- meh - why can’t people be kind
@ It helps that we are aware of the terrible qualities of the author who stands behind the stories we enjoy! ❤️ It ensures that not only their work endures but their wrongs as well!
@@megansmiley9540 It was honestly such a fast easy read! I can’t believe I dragged my feet for so long! The second book is also in a wintry setting so might try to read it in the next few months! 🤞🤩
You made it through the project that's the important part. I haven't seen the series, but I enjoyed the Marlow Club Murder books so much I did pick up a Death in Paradise book. I haven't seen the series, is that ok?
Writing out accents drive me insane! And i feel like it's very much an English thing. I don't think i've ever seen it in non-English books (which of course doesn't mean that it could never happen there, just that i haven't encountered it myself). I find it personally really odd and pretty disrespectful as well
Hi! You were my first draw for TBRathon bingo. I wanted to come and support a booktuber I’m unfamiliar with. Are you a fan of Romantasy and Romance? I recommend the Chestnut Springs Series. 🫶
This was such a fun series! Sad to see it come to an end. This definitely inspired me to try this for myself for next year!
I ❤ your murdermas vlog series! Thx for the recommendation Murder for Christmas, it was so good.
Yay!! I’m so glad it made it to you! I hope you have the best time reading Northanger!
This was such a fun vlog series. You got so close to winning!

Such a fun series of vlogs! Hopefully some variation will return next year.
@@tennille9dawn Thank you, Tennille!! It’s definitely coming back…just need to figure out how to switch things up!
A shame about the DNFs, still a fun end to the series!
😂 we were so close to over an hour long vlog! Laughing at you refusing to do it 🤣
Ooo I like the tv show Death in Paradise. I'll need to try Murder in the Caribbean.
Oh you 100% should have dnfd that book- and both. You DNFing both is fine content!!

I'm anxious to start the Alex Carter series! I think I'll really enjoy it. Hopefully, I get to it sooner rather than later.
