No one can come close to Kamal in terms of acting, dancing, facial expressions.
There is no replacement for SPB, Kamal and Sri Devi in this world.
I really want someone to sit present day Kamal down in front of a giant screen, mic him up, play his old movies back and make him commentate live about his thoughts and incidents, and his own thoughts of looking back on his own work.
Imagine making him talk about Nayakan or Thevar Magan or this Thai Illamal Naan Illai

It’s shocking that “all time great actor like Kamal” acted in this kind of stupid, child play movie! What a pathetic movie, Kamal & Sridevi - their skills have been wasted. This movie only suitable for 5 years old kids!
I remember watching this movie in Coimbatore "Sri valli" Theatre in "tharai ticket". I watched this movie though I was a movie-phobic then. I had just passed seventh standard . I was fascinated and loved this movie then.
This movie was a roaring success then and Kamal hassan had not transformed into a full time hero. He was only playing niche roles like "Johny" in "Avargal" and so on. He was playing a lot of small roles like the heroine's brother.
He would be a full time hero only after "Sakala kala vallavan"- 1982 .
But now , today, this very same movie looks childish to me.
That was then.
This is now.
Anyway ,I respect your opinion.
