There is even evidence that browns were used , but very nice to see them being painted in grey. They were not just blue and black. Early Landwehr would be a right mix. I’m working on some browns know try and have something different but authentic a hard job

Once again very nicely done; Grey at least has lots of variation that it can absorb (your tinting it with Blue or Brown) that is much harder to do with white. Great job, will definitely be sharing this with some friends.

Your amazing skill is applicable in creating various uniform tones for other battlefields. Civil War Confederates come to mind... these shades of grey belong along with those 'butternut' tones... whatever 'butternut' may be. Thanks for the splendid tutorial!

I actually have a confederate soldier tutorial - it's just a bit earlier, but you can find it on my channel.

Right unless I've missed it, the painting tutorial I'd like to see would be a turkish janissary from any period you find a suitable model for. The gauntlet has been thrown down!

Right. I'll keep that in mind, though can't say I have the figure to do that right now.

These guys must the the laughing stock of the Napoleonic fashion world. The French Fashion Gendarme will catch them and issue turnbacks and collar piping.
Is that a new brush ?

Yea, it's still a Series 7, but a brand new one. I use my brushes pretty hard, so even good quality ones tend to wear out after awhile and need to be replaced.

Wargames, Soldiers and Strategy I was wondering if i buy the miniatures on your website are they already painted or do i have to paint them?

Hi Dylan. We don't say any miniatures ourselves. They are available from various companies that specialize in them. Also, they all need to be painted - hence the tutorials!
