Me too. Wouldn't you love to be able to walk on the moon or another planet? I think about that often. It's so fascinating.

These are great, but I really loved the ones you made on Euler. I know that took a lot of research and effort, but I think it really stood out. I think that Newton, Einstein, Hawking, Feynman, and Kepler would all be great candidates for more videos like that

Space is my favourite thing. It’s sooo vast and so empty but it feels soo full at the same time. Our galaxy is one out of the thousands maybe even millions of other galaxies that are out there and it’s the most fascinating thing ever.
Dude your voice brings memories of me in school, used to finish my work, lay my head down and listen to teacher or other ppl whisper..... Had to subscribe!
Another great video! I kinda wish the book had mentioned Russian revolutionary Nikolai Kibalchich whose scientific work predates 1903, although I guess it wouldn't because I think his papers were lost and by the time they were found other scientists were then working on similar ideas. Kibalchich was a member of the Narodnaya Volya executed for the assassination of Tsar Alexander II; it's interesting to mention that after his arrest and up until his execution all he could think of was rocket propulsion, and he wrote down his theories and calculations precisely during that time, hoping they would be submitted for the appreciation of a scientific committee before his execution were carried out. But he died before anything came of it and his work was lost for many years. I thought it would be interesting to share his story :)

was just looking to buy a book on this! great timing, as usual
I've been listening to ASMR for about 5 years now (before it became popular - yeah I'm cool), and I've found so many wonderful artists. But I have never found a male artist that I liked. And that's not because of some misplaced masculine notion. I just don't find young men's voices or demeanor soothing.
But, I have to say man, you not only have a soothing low voice, but you also have a real genuine charm to you. A lot of asmr artists just do things because they know it will get them views, or they know it will sound or look cool/ soothing (and there's nothing wrong with that). But with you, it's so apparent that you're really astronomy and science, and that is just a charming thing to hear. You honestly capture the same kind of intensity/ atmosphere of the classics like Sagan and Tyson. It's infectious. Been listening to your stuff for about a year now. And I have to find myself watching the same videos over and over again, because I normally fall asleep. That means I'' learn something new almost evetime I watch the same video.
Anyways, keep it up.

It's been a bad few days. 2 deaths in my family (sister and uncle) and 4 other family members in the hospital including my wife writhin 3 days.
