This message is from 2011, but is needed today. Are you madly in love with God? Are you trusting God during Covid-19 and riots? God created you to have a deep personal relationship with Him, but it takes effort on our part to go deep.

I pray that I would be 100% sure of the love of Christ for me. Not just a regular love like you would have for a friend but love like God has for His only Son, Jesus. And I pray that my children would know that love as well. And that we can have assurance of salvation 100%. Not just "I think He loves me" but "I KNOW He loves me"!

OK so I saw this a couple of days ago and now I just read this passage 2 Kings 6:8-23 which made me go back here because I felt like I needed to write something about it here.
So, the city where the prophet Elisha lived is surrounded by the army of the king of Aram. They are looking for Elisha to take him captive. Elisha's servant sees the army and freaks out, even though Elisha tries to comfort him. THAN the prophet PRAYS for his servant that 'His eyes may be opened so that he may see.' and God hears Elisha. The servants eyes are opened and he is able to see the great and powerful and Godly army of horses and wagons of fire! Seeing this gives this man the comfort and reassurance that he needed.
So only after Elisha prayed for his beloved helper, did God Jehovah GRANT the scared man eyes to see clearly. What did he need to see clearly? The power and almightiness of God Himself. He needed to see that God is infinitely greater than he could ever imagine AND most importantly that He was on his side! Those two things are what we need to realise as well and getting others to see it too requires prayer. Maybe God won't answer your prayer as fast as happened with Elisha here. I sometimes get frustrated by that, but I believe that we should never give up praying for someone. God does hear your prayers and He never ignores his children.
Also, check with yourself to see if your eyes might still be closed to some things in your life...
btw I'm praying for you Francis Chan. May you continue with joy the great works that God still has in store for you. (I hope BRMinistries will pass this message to you.)

I feel so emotionally dead to god. I dont even know why. I'm trying to fight sin and I'm trying to keep my mind on god. I try and read the bible I pray to god almost every night. Why don't I feel anything? I'm even trying to talk to people about god. I feel good then but I can only listen. I feel so numb I dont know what to do.
Keep at it, He always answers and even more things than we understand or feel take place in prayer. His glory changes us, and we overcome every weekness in His presence. Pour your heart to Him, He is faithful. Blessings in Christ.
Try giving "Nothing Else" by Cody Carnes a listen, and just find it in your heart to surrender what little bit you can to the Lord because you'll be shocked at what he can do with our hardened hearts
You are not alone in this. I found a quote once that helped me “Some days feel mechanical, some days feel intimate, that doesn’t make God any less present” and that is my comfort, that God is greater than my feelings and everything else. Romans 8:35-39. Nothing can separate us from his love ❤️
I understand how you are feeling. I want to love him more and to feel his love for me but for years now I have felt so dead.

My sin that entices me wraps around my ankles like hostile roots and continues to hold me in place slowly dragging me into an abyss I can only wish to escape. I want to rid my sin but iblike it too much to the point I'm emotionally dead and spiritually stale.

God ministered to me in a revelation about you i saw a revelation concerned you, your family and things around you .
Chid of God ,i saw God's favor, success,joy and breakthrough.
Behind that i saw more spiritual attacks from the enemies, working and holding such blessings, causing your set back, but you are lifted above any spiritual tower.
So the Lord is instructing you to sow a seed of faith into a motherless babies home,(orphanage) this is going to be a convenant seed between you and God .

@@BRMinistries ,it was probably just a short time before that I had prayed to God, asking Him...Lord, I want to love you more, I feel that my heart is not close enough to you. I left it in His hands. I wasn't looking for a video on the subject. I had finished watching a video on a different subject and Wow! there was your video. It blew me away, on how fast He moved. We serve an awesome God.

Francis; Now that you have matured spiritually and have discovered that over 1500 years ago the early church Christians truly believed that the Holy Eucharist was truly the living bread that came down from heaven. The true living mystical Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ Himself; will you be willing to give up all to receive all. John 6:52 . You do know that a flesh and blood relationship with Jesus Christ has far more depth than a spiritual relationship with Christ. Say that your son was in the military and overseas for a year or two, true your heart would be with him everyday spiritually, but that day when he comes home and you pick him up at the airport and you through your arms around him, nothing could replace that flesh and blood experience you would have with your son. It’s the same with the Holy Eucharist, Jesus loved us so much that he was not willing to leave us orphans, so he set up away on earth so that he could be with us always, not just in his spirit but in his flesh and blood and spirt. Imagine we can consume Him everyday. He says in John 6; Do this so that I can abide in you and so that you can abide in Me! I pray for you everyday Francis that the spirit, which is the love between the Father and Son leads you the the Most Blessed Sacrament of the alter. The Most Holy Eucharist is the greatest love stories between God and man. Jesus said; obey all that I’ve commanded you and the Father and I will come and live inside you. Francis seek and you will find. Remember Jesus said; Don’t worry about the roof over your head, or the food that you eat or the close on your back, seek Me first with all your righteousness and I’ll give that to you. I just want to say holiness is attractive, it saddens me to see how many mean spirited Christians there are out there. Continue to follow your heart, we answer to no one but Christ. I don’t even know you, but I do know the mystical body of Jesus Christ which you are definitely a part of. For some strange reason I’ve been called to pray for you and your family every day, so I will. We all need to work together as one body to help shepherd as many souls into eternity as possible. When you believe in a "god" who is capable of sending away to "hell" those who don't have the faith in Him to commit their lives to him, of course you are going to have a half-hearted love for him. You cannot love someone fully who you are afraid could torture you for ever unless...... (put expectation here).
Going to hell is a choice. WE CHOOSE Life or Death, Heaven or Hell for ourselves. God wants that we would ALL go to Heaven. That's the price that's already been paid for you, for all of humanity for all time. Praying that you choose Life. You are so precious. So valuable.
@@AM-xh2su So if God has "paid the price" to "go to heaven", on what basis can He send people to "Hell"? Surely he would be in violation of his own covenant if he were to do that. God FORGAVE the entire human race. There is now NO CONDEMNATION!

@@77goanywhere God doesn't send people to hell, we have free will to accept the gift of Jesus dying on the cross for our sins. God is pure and perfect! We're separated from him until we accept the sacrifice he made for us on the cross! Everything on this Earth will fail you, until you except and receive the ultimate love that surpasses all understanding.
@@ellenbeebe8605 Of course we are separated until our eyes are opened. But we are not LEGALLY separated. We are only separated in our MIND. We are under no sentence of hell, we are only under the sentence of the consequences of sin. From God's perspective we are forgiven and reconciled. We just need to have our eyes opened to this reality.

Jesus christ was a POOR preacher bringing the kingdom of heaven to all showing them how to follow his teaching and become poor working for each other instead of working for ourselves as the body of christ we need true unity Christians communities helping out all making gardens feeding our brothers and sisters we have to stop working for money and work for each other. GOD IS LOVE WE MUST SHOW HIS LOVE THROUGH OUR VESSEL.

if by this guy you mean the pastor you would be incorrect. He and his wife gave up all their worldly comforts and are leaving everything they knew behind to be missionaries in Asia. Money means nothing to him- spreading the love of Christ? That means everything
