Algodoo mass water test

- I finally got a new computer. A utra powered beast I call the big green monster to test what It can do I had it process massive amounts of water in a program called Algodoo that i usually use to make little gadgets. Now just so you can grasp the true power of my new machine, algodoo only uses one processor core, I have a quad core. this program only uses a 1/4th of what my computer can do.
Song: Skindred - Electric Avenue
1st test:
what you would see:
T=0 seconds
So, suddenly, water is impacting the wall. You do not see this.
T=0.5 seconds
A few drops of water pass through the brick wall in front of you, which for some reason has no mortar.
T=2 seconds
A LOT more water is passing through the wall. It pushes your legs back. This combined with your flinching from before knocks you over
Also, the top of the wall seems to have shifted over a bit, so its slanted
T=4 seconds
Oh no
There is water coming over the top of the wall.
You see this because you have been knocked over
T=6 seconds
Your face is completely covered in water. As well is your body.
And now it is all over.
Result: Within a span of 6 seconds, you were covered completely in water. I guess a little bit might have gone into your lungs.
Ok
2:20 to 2:45 ... THAT WAS COOOOOOOOOOOOL
Meh about Multi-core. What will really be the best is GPU processing using CUDA and stream processors! Take that water and multiply it by 1000. That's about how powerful a GPU could do it. Not to mention GPUs are designed to do grunt work, exactly the kind of thing water is I imagine.
I was googling how to make algodoo use all 4 of my cpu cores, and came across this video. Do you know how I would use my gpu to process the simulation? Do i need a pluggin?

Love the soundtrack
Gosh the nostalgia
0:38 evil water!!
0:25 How did some Water Pass the Bricks?!
Maybe this water is using *hax*
the water moves so fast that it ended up seeping through and hit the poor dude. sometimes if it dosent move fast enough it will get stuck within the bricks. In another experiment, it can sometimes cause the building to be more vulnerable
For this sort of thing dual core processors wont help. Physics can only be processed on a single core. So the stronger your individual processing core is (mine clocked 3.6ghz at the time this was recorded) the more water it can handle.
@doodlezin It's called fraps
Unfortunately thats not going to happen because of the way physics are processed. Apparently multi core physics simulation would require the second core to somehow predictively render physics. To get the timing right with current technology would likely make it run even slower.
id imagine if it were 1024x mass of water
the sea level would be 10 meters high
Water will always lag, especially on weaker computers. My computer is a bit of a monster. I would suggest closing any other programs you have running as well as enabling 16 bit textures. That and disable meta surface water rendering, it should increase your processing speed by a bit.
There should be a mode called brickify
Hello, what was the name of the ORIGINAL soundtrack? I know there was a different one (f***ing copyright).
If I remember correctly it was 'Electric Avenue' by Skindred.
@@FuttheWuk Ah, i thought maybe it was the current one, as shown in the description.
1:27 for speed
cool
Oh man! If only there was a way to ignore it! Maybe someone should invent some sort of...I dont know...Volume control device. Some sort of...Volume lever of sorts, so you could turn off the music when you dont like it.
the water is super sian
what's it clocked at? also sorry to burst your bubble but the Intel graphics cards are kind of shit.
wow
is the gpu built in to the cpu? because i meant a seperate one
how many particles?
what kind of computer?
No need to brag. Sheesh.
wow wie geht das bei mir lagt das bei wasser übelst
und ich hab nen bug bei mir stoßen sich die waser molekühle ab ^^Fail
PS geile mukke

Yeah, I just bought a supercomputer so I can watch youtube vids V_V

It depends on what version of algodoo you have. Usually you just right click and select "liquify"

@TalonNEU Ich spreche kein Deutsch, verzeiht mir, wenn dies nicht gut übersetzen. Fließendes Wasser in Algodoo erfordert viel Rechenleistung. Sie benötigen einen sehr leistungsstarken Rechner, um eine Menge von Wasser zu laufen. Sogar mein Computer hinkt mit dieser viel Wasser, aber sie kann es laufen genug Zeit gegeben.
Yeah, Algodoo doesn't support multi core processors. It uses %100 of only one out of my four cores. Can you imagine what I could pull of if it was running on all four?
0:46 that water falling over the wall looks like united states
@Cain Ciona its been 3 years i do not rememberr this comment.
Oh my god 3x is awsome this is going on my playlist
check out my new version, more water, more bricks and broken glass.
Memories from 2012 i remember my first time watching it
I wish I knew why people liked this Video so much, I would have made more.
Awesome when that brick hit the Stickman in the head!
awesome music!
You need more then just ram for this sort of physic processing.
PUN TIME!!!!!!! water u doing here

Especially at 2:36!
I know what you mean....I am running an 8 core fx 8120 at 4.6 ghz....I would love to see true multi core support!
do 100x water mass test
oh my god fuking cool

2019??
2:47 OH MY GOD!
2:35 tsunami!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yay Xd
TSUNAMI!!!
What about 10 times water?
WOW
2:02 TSUNAMI!!!!!
TOWER
Yes and no. Its algodoo, its the late, paid version of Phun.
2:25 help me big wave oh my god!!!
What the hell was the music in the song it was bloody terrible
wait... you need a beast computer to run this ?
This is the kind of algoodo contraption that i don't do because its so tiny...
So if you're computer is a beast, mine is a titan .-.
This video is 5 years old. But really you need a very powerful processor, though even with that Algodoo itself has a lot of limitations. I was trying to do a video where I dropped 20,000 polygons but algodoo simply couldn't handle it.
what kind?
so it is cald big green monster
you need a dual core cpu, and i recommend a good gpu
The ragdoll is drowning :(
2:32 tsunami :D
This song copyrighted?
@kidshark1 I know right =D
TRUMPS WALL GETS REKT BY MEXICAN POWERWATER
