Zach at 3:35 I did as you asked, After all most of them my age. . My first concert I saw Montrose in 1976 along with Black Oak Arkansas. Tickets were $6.50 Love your videos
It's his character. The audience at the live concerts wants to see him in that hair as in the 80's. Slash is not fake. He is one of the best composers of solos out there, an amazingly gifted musician. Just because he is loosing a bit of his hair in the front and wear some extantions when he is playing live, doesn't make him fake. Look at Van Halen. He had really starting to lose his hair and was wearing something to make up for it. But - the extantions glued to his hat. Just imagine if he would fall on stage and his hat falls off... they probably just twin it in to his hair when he gets up on stage.
@ his hair faked me out dude. GNR is my favorite band. Slash is my favorite guitarist too. I have both GNR pinball machines and a whole room full of autographed guitars and killer Slash items. I don’t need a lecture little troll 🧌
I feel for John Travolta 💙 He's been through a lot in his lifetime. So whether it is genetic, but I wouldn't at all be surprised if emotional stress has played a part re the loss of loved ones which he has endured I use to love him in Welcome Back Kotter and I remember a film called The Boy In The Plastic Bubble in which he starred. (Diana Hyland, who played his mother in the film, was his real life partner at the time and she sadly passed at age 41)
I have watched about a half dozen videos of yours. Most have been wig related (😄). I wasn't going to subscribe to your channel, but I like the content and you asked nicely, so I went ahead and subscribed. Keep up the good work!. 👍
If Frampton "never took it off" how is it possible to shower or go swimming while wearing a wig? Granted, I don't know much about wigs but it seems to me that they would come off quite easily. They would also be a pain to clean if they got wet wouldn't they?
Perfect. You were correct on every single guy/wig/hair situation in this video. I remember your first video on wig was pretty accurate too...but then there were some mistakes in the 2nd one. But you redeemed yourself with this one. hehe. If someone doesn't know a lot about hair and how to spot when DHT is taking over, do some comparisons. Frampton is a good example of this. He had really good, realistic looking wigs. But if you compare a bunch of photos, his hair changes. So he obviously got a new wig between photos. When dealing with natural hair, you style it however you want...you can get perms..etc...but you can't change how it grows or what your roots look like. Also..DHT can start doing a number on your hair before you really have a lot of recessison. The miniaturization process changes the texture of your hair before it finally falls out and stops growing. Look at the hair around a guy's ears and his ends. When you see a lot of whispy hair...it is starting to go. I was lucky enough to catch my hair when it started to change and immediately got on finasteride...and havent' lost any hair. BUT, the hair around my ears was starting to get whispy and wouldn't grow as long as the rest of my hair. Luckily, I caught it and prevented any more damage from happening. But it is a lifelong commitment.
@@mrsciencedaemon I guess so….(?)….. It kinda interesting to see how different musicians dealt with the problem……Joe Lynn Turner for example used to wear these hairpieces….now he just shaves his head…and it looks fantastic! Geoff Tate from Queensryche. Then you have Dee Snyder from Twisted Sister, who was blessed with a beautiful head of hair….which he still has 40 some years later !!!
Syrup comes from cockney rhyming slang in London. Syrup of figs = wigs. Syrup of figs being a laxative. Cockney rhyming slang is mostly utterly pointless, in my opinion, but syrup is pretty funny. I once, unintentionally, knocked a guy's wig off. I didn't know it was a wig. It was a really good one, unlike almost all the wigs you've featured.
Peter Frampton may have said he had a head like an egg at 18. If so, he was being self deprecating. While his hair was starting to thin around Frampton comes alive, that was still all his hair.
I think next video on this, it would be cool if you did rockers with honest long hair! Biff Byford, Bobby Blitz, Chris Holmes, James Hetfield (was longer 4-5 years ago). Wondering if Steve “Zetro” Souza of Exodus is wearing a wig, looks really interesting, as well as Doug Blair from W.A.S.P. Joey Bellodana, Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, Glenn Danzig, Bruce Dickinson, Steve Harris, Tom Araya, Mick Box, Tony Iommi, Ozzy Osbourne (could’ve been transplant, hairline hasn’t receded much but he’s old so I’m curious?) There’s some recommendations!
Musicians and actresses have been wearing wigs for years. This is not new. The lace fronts we see nowadays are a spin on wigs made for theater. Years and years and years.
I repeat: I have spent considerable time with Jeff Beck, up close. Multiple occasions. He never wore a wig. You are doing the man an injustice. Let him RIP. Note my own photo - I'm 71. Still my own hair; still my original color!! Some of us were simply blessed. No baseball hats required.
Hi dude great video once again. Just saw a picture of Elon Musk from earlier days and was receding too . I Always said to people 2 things 1.How does over 50year man have no Gray hair ?? 2. How do all these people have such nice hair. In reality you go outside and every 2nd guy is bald & every girl without make-up looks scary 😢
During the filming of David Bowie's 1969 promotional film "Love you till Tuesday" he wore a wig designed to look like his haircut on the cover of his debut album because shortly before filming he had to cut his hair to military regulations to audition for a movie he was in called The Virgin Soldiers
Aerosmith was famous for their long rock hair. Steven Tyler and his 10 pound pirate wig is always fascinating to see. Joe Perry had a great head of hair, but he looked wigged out too on that short lived final tour. Tom Hamilton had cancer twice, but always kept a decent head of realistic long blond hair. Brad Whitford went the hat route. Joey Kramer had a nice hairpiece going back to the mid 90s.
I always thought that Jeff Beck wore a wig. But I liked it. Peter Framton, Wow fantastic. I am going to get one. Long hair but I am thinning on top. Syrup of figs.... Wigs. English cickney way of speaking. Nice show man
Really? He got a wig? I remember him cutting his hair after leaving Anthrax and finding Jee-bus. During the reunion tours he had thinning hair but he seemed to rock the look. He put on a wig after that?
I don’t know the names of the members of the band “sweet” , but one like 80 years, still around with blond long hair wig. Is like his face and body don’t match at all.

I feel so stupid,, I'm a child from the 60s, and I didn't realize rock stars my age wore wigs!!!! I just thought they were blessed with alot of hair, oh well,,hair doesn't make the man,, I'm a woman and I still have alot of thick hair,,
Jealous! Glad my video got to you :)
Zach at 3:35 I did as you asked, After all most of them my age. . My first concert I saw Montrose in 1976 along with Black Oak Arkansas. Tickets were $6.50 Love your videos
Thank you for the comment! 🙏🙏🙏
What is your view on HOWARD STERN
Is he a musician 👀👀👀
'He looks like he's about to pick up his three kids from high school and then get into a pilates class' killed me 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’m sad that Slash is wearing a wig. He faked me out. I guess that’s why he always wears a hat or a cap.
Hmmm.
Frampton had me fooled, that was a,good, wig
No doubt!
People in the comments have pointed out the website Zach got that quote from is a joke website that has funny articles about celebrities.
I feel for John Travolta 💙 He's been through a lot in his lifetime. So whether it is genetic, but I wouldn't at all be surprised if emotional stress has played a part re the loss of loved ones which he has endured
I use to love him in Welcome Back Kotter and I remember a film called The Boy In The Plastic Bubble in which he starred. (Diana Hyland, who played his mother in the film, was his real life partner at the time and she sadly passed at age 41)
🙏🙏🙏
I have watched about a half dozen videos of yours. Most have been wig related (😄). I wasn't going to subscribe to your channel, but I like the content and you asked nicely, so I went ahead and subscribed. Keep up the good work!. 👍
Thanks for subbing! 🙏🙏
If Frampton "never took it off" how is it possible to shower or go swimming while wearing a wig? Granted, I don't know much about wigs but it seems to me that they would come off quite easily. They would also be a pain to clean if they got wet wouldn't they?
It was a mistake on my end. Check out the pinned comment to see the fix
Thanks for the comment!! Appreciate it.
Also. I wasn't wrong in part 2. I'm always right
These videos are great! I love laughing at aging rockers who are still trying to look like they did 40 years ago.
🤣🤣entertainment I guess
You do realize that he is getting some of these wrong, right? He's going bald so he sees bald everywhere. It's called exposure bias.
Jeff used to shop at the same place that M.Angelo Batio shops for his new “ #ystems/ units”!! 😂😂😂
Interesting.....
@ it’s a jk,but their “systems “ certainly have a similar commonality to each other! lol!
Sure he did. If you were told the earth was flat when you were a kid you still would believe it, wouldn't you.
Thank you!
Travolta, huge Rockstar 😂
He sang once
Love your videos, kudos bro, lmao!
Glad you like them!
Yo dude, you forgot my boy Donald Trump, my favorite singer.
I'll have to check him out on Spotify
Peter Frampton may have said he had a head like an egg at 18. If so, he was being self deprecating. While his hair was starting to thin around Frampton comes alive, that was still all his hair.
Eh
he said that it was a wig...I'm surprised too!
Love this!!! ❤
Thank you!
Remember Ronnie Spector at his trial, hr wore the most insane wigs.
I'll have to check that out
Phil Spector.. Ronnie was a female singer in The Ronettes and co-sang with Eddie Money that one time.
@@junkbox_ Of course. Thank you.
Interesting
Marky had a phone argument with Joey on the Stern Show and Joey blasted Marky about the wig. So funny
Musicians and actresses have been wearing wigs for years. This is not new. The lace fronts we see nowadays are a spin on wigs made for theater. Years and years and years.
Ex-zach-ly
I repeat: I have spent considerable time with Jeff Beck, up close. Multiple occasions. He never wore a wig. You are doing the man an injustice. Let him RIP. Note my own photo - I'm 71. Still my own hair; still my original color!! Some of us were simply blessed. No baseball hats required.
Ok
Howard Stern. He did make music
Frampton 2024 Hall of Fame
No doubt!!
I’m old af and I still have a full head of hair. Unfortunately, it’s on my back! Pat Travers is rockin’ a hair hat. Just subscribed!
Hi dude great video once again.
Just saw a picture of Elon Musk from earlier days and was receding too .
I Always said to people 2 things
1.How does over 50year man have no Gray hair ??
2. How do all these people have such nice hair.
In reality you go outside and every 2nd guy is bald & every girl without make-up looks scary 😢
I worked as a waitress at Sahara Tahoe in 1979 after the show she came in to eat at 3am. Cher had scraggly hair. They always wear wigs on stage.
I chased Kevin DuBrow down Bourbon Street, asking about his weave and telling him how good he looks..
It was hilarious 😆
Love that
During the filming of David Bowie's 1969 promotional film "Love you till Tuesday" he wore a wig designed to look like his haircut on the cover of his debut album because shortly before filming he had to cut his hair to military regulations to audition for a movie he was in called The Virgin Soldiers
Interesting
Aerosmith was famous for their long rock hair. Steven Tyler and his 10 pound pirate wig is always fascinating to see. Joe Perry had a great head of hair, but he looked wigged out too on that short lived final tour. Tom Hamilton had cancer twice, but always kept a decent head of realistic long blond hair. Brad Whitford went the hat route. Joey Kramer had a nice hairpiece going back to the mid 90s.
Looking into it now
I always thought that Jeff Beck wore a wig. But I liked it. Peter Framton, Wow fantastic. I am going to get one. Long hair but I am thinning on top.
Syrup of figs.... Wigs. English cickney way of speaking. Nice show man
Now you have to do one while wearing a wig…but don’t even bring it up once lmao
That's a good idea lol
I’ve got another request
Johnny Marr
On it
Once again, Johnny Marr should look like Jackie from The Benny Hill Show. IMHO.
Uproarious, Mr. Adkins. Longlive the Norwood #2s.
Thank you!!
Great host , syrup of fig, wig.
Hmmm
Gary Holt Exodus.
I've heard this...
Dan Spitz from Anthrax. When he performs on stage he wears a wig. Offstage he is a watchmaker and goes bald. It's like he has a split personality.
Whaaaa
State of Baldphoria
Really? He got a wig? I remember him cutting his hair after leaving Anthrax and finding Jee-bus. During the reunion tours he had thinning hair but he seemed to rock the look. He put on a wig after that?
Man, the Frampton thing hit hard. I feel like I've just been kicked in the stomach.
I'm sorry 🤣
I don’t know the names of the members of the band “sweet” , but one like 80 years, still around with blond long hair wig. Is like his face and body don’t match at all.
You're exactly right
Some people think that I am wearing a bloody wig. I don’t know why they even care.
Hmmm...
It's called jealousy. It may have some part in this video.
@@mrsciencedaemonI’m not a musician that’s recognized on social media platforms. 😂
@@ZachAdkinsGuitar🤘
And Don Dokken has been very open about his hair transplant in the late 80s.
Hmmm
I spend 300 every 2 months on hair , lace system glued down, looks like it's growing out of my head, same type Travolta was using, it's a pain in the ass but looks better than what a lot of these rich guys have, bald ain't beautiful
Interesting!
Does Zakk Wylde have all of his hair, or does he wear a wig? 🎸🎸
That's all him!
@@ZachAdkinsGuitar How has he kept all of his hair with his age?
