Not really, most addicts require something to feel good. Alcohol is poison, I recognise that, but lots of people function on huge amounts of alcohol and live perfectly fine life's. It's a rarity that alcohol will cause the same problems hard drug use will, not to mention the drugs are question cause legal problems and contributed to giving blood money to evil men. Full straight edge people are usually freaks and get into dangerous/weird sex stuff or religion. Alcohol and weed should be used to bring addicts off hard drugs, then cut out the alcohol for weed, then cut that out for cigs or something. But being straight edge turns people into freaks

Yea, but his potential was only reached because of drugs. His whole existence revolved around drugs. That dude was an addict on another level. Everything he did was addict behavior. Whether it was gym, diet, implants in his muscles, or the roids or recreational drugs. Dude had some serious mental problems. I can't imagine living in his head. Knowing that if he decided to stop the roids and get healthy, his entire image would be destroyed. He created an image that was destined to kill him. All those freak size monsters are ticking time bombs. And they all have major mental issues.

He was miserable. It’s sad he died but I think he would want the truth told so no one follows the same path he did.

Not the best advice but I was able to quit alcohol and codeine by switching to benadryl. Then I tapered off of the Benadryl. It was either shut down my anger or hunt down family and people from my past to get justice.

I’m clean alm 130 days and the hardest part was saying no. I didn’t go to a rehab or none of that. I had to prove to myself if I got myself into something I could get me out of it. My plug called a few times during detox and said he would drop off thousands of yerks. By doing that though I’ve made bad decisions and got myself around drugs a few times but saying no was easy. If I can say no in withdrawal I can say no when I’m sober

I love Rich. He definitely influenced me to get into the gym and be productive when i was at my most unhealthy place in my life. But i could actually tell the dude was on drugs. I grew up around that stuff and i know what it does. His eyes over the years just did not look normal, and that combination of drugs and gear is a death sentence. I still miss the guy, but he was out of control, and he hid it very well.
As a sober addict I would so much rather the feeling from the pain pill, but that wasn’t affordable so I did heroin. Which made me even have less money . I wish I could feel good like that. My sister told me everyone does though . That we are not meant to feel like that all the time .
Ive watched alot of close family/friends in my life spiral and hit rock bottom because of drink. Its crazy to hear that someones situation got so bad that "why dont you just drink" is good, reasonable and sensible advice. Whoevers reading this please be careful with substances, everything is okay in moderation but its easy to stop yourself early than drag yourself out of the pit of addiction. Big love ❤

The other sad truth as a recovering addict that didn’t love alcohol and had an eating disorder is that you obsess over the empty calories in Booz.. yet I was willing to share pipes with homeless people and shoot/snort things that I got from other junkies. We’ll cut a 10$ bag if it means we get our fix so you don’t know what you’re using these days. Fentanyl has killed so many of my friends

Drugs are really a fake fun attraction it’s like if you bought fun off of the wish app it’s a very temporary low quality unfulfilled fun. Off drugs your emotions are in check so is your health and your memories and there is no guilt. Honestly only shady people stick with drugs.

I still remember how funny it was when they lost their size after their cycles and were hooked on other stuff too. One guy got random nose bleeds on blow and another guy cried because he couldn’t get it one night
