The Making of Frank Stella's Houston Mural

Produced in 1998 by Sue Porretto and Kathy Reiser, this archival documentary celebrates the installation of Frank Stella’s “Euphonia” at Moores Opera House with insightful interviews from the artist, art historians, the local artist crew who worked on the project, University of Houston staff and City of Houston officials. The film tells the story of how this colorful piece is more than an installation. The project united the community to bring something meaningful to the city.
