Let me guess .... I try to start my engine after it has been sitting for a while. It doesn't start and I keep on cranking (without first shutting off the raw water through hull) and fill my exhaust hose with seawater. Since there's no high pressure exhaust to drive the seawater out through the transom, it backs up and flows into my cylinders. Since seawater is essentially uncompressable, my starter now burns up. This may not have happened to Oliver but I'll be sure to close my through hull from now on if I need to crank more than five or six times.
Interesting to hear about each sailor's boat failure(s) and how they managed to move forward with the repair. Then to focus to racing again. Challenging time based on location relative to course and the low fronts. Gusting winds and heavy seas means no rest for captains. Constantly monitoring, adjusting, bearing off or tacking or rerouting or attempting to stay ahead of the front.
Don't apologise for language, you should be apologising for lack of language from these gladiators battling the forces of the universe while remembering their media training. 😊
Why no mention of Violette Dorange? I think at her age she deserves more coverage than she’s getting
Because it would be ageist.
Richomme is a baddass!

it's a shame that "cc" is not available for all videos 😔

I'm scared for the boats at the front
Please spend more time on the rest of the fleet not just the front runners.
So the headline clickbaited SiFi & Sam Goodchild......
Yet no Sam Goodchild, what Gives? Disappointing to say the least.
If you can understand French, the coverage of the rest of the fleet is much better...
